Difficulty Accessing Emails
Lately when I sign in I get two to three windows with my emails. Need to delete several in order to access. In addition, emails are constantly loading, then the system freezes. I need to sign out and re-sign in again. I have been an AOL user for years. This is getting real tired. Also, of late, only the current day of emails is available. Where are they rest of them? GOLD address file still not working correctly
The Gold address book is still working correctly. I have had issues with this from the very beginning. If you transfer a name from 'All Contacts' into an address folder it will not stay in there. I also get duplications in the address folders. I have lost names in the address folders also. I have contacted AOL techs several times and they reset my address book only to have it not work properly again and again. All the mail I send now goes BBC and no one gets it I don't know why this is happening
All the mail I send now goes BBC and no one gets it I don't know why this is happening. I write my mail go add the address from my address book and click send it puts it BBC and the mail does no go. I have had several people tell me they didn't get the mail. This needs to be fixed.

Not satisfied and problem not solved. Need further resolution!
I can not attach pictures to my AOL Gold E-mail. Old AOL worked fine and I could attach with no problem. I spent 1 1/2 hours with AOL representative on 2/7/18 and was not able to get the problem resolved. I need and expect follow up help to resolve this problem. Please follow up and get this problem resolved. Had been with AOL since 1990.

This problem with "We seem to have a problem, etc, etc, is old. I just deleted 77 of those error messages. :-(
Fix it and don't charge any subscribers until this is fixed and all former options, like writing mail offline, background mail colours and celebrity voices, are returned. Waiting a half hour for tech support is ridiculous but that seems to be the norm with the new & improved AOL.

POOR PERFORMANCE
I HATE/ABHOR AOL DESKTOP GOLD. I have never seen such a total failure of a site that was previously working well for many. For this we are paying money??? Performance is horrible and, it is NOT my computer as I've had it checked out by experts who, BTW, echo sentiments about AOL. As soon as I can find a way to transfer all my favorites, saved data, emails, contacts, etc., this 30yr customer is HISTORY. Booo Hisss AOL...shame on you.

Fix your video player! Every time I try to watch a video on your Aol.Video service, I get this: "Sorry, a network error caused the video download to fail. Please refresh and try again." Why? I watch videos all the time on my computer, this only happens of AOL! Why? I thought this was the new and improved AOL. Please fix it!

Listen to your customers
AOL has to start listening to its customers--or leave the business. If they don't, their customers will leave it anyway. Technicians are just running hog wild--introducing new networks, making changes in existing ones without taking into consideration whether their customers want them or if it will harm their customers. Case in point: why upgrade your network and remove security filters (i.e. restricting mail to people I know). Now, all spam enters my inbox--and anything reported as spam cannot be retrieved if inadvertently deleted. This is just crazy. I've never, ever seen a company like this one. Never!

Why do you all put an app out there and even help us download it, but when we decide we don't want to keep it, refuse to help get it off?
I tried AIL one point had help from AOL to download since it would not work for me. Friend of mine had his laptop stolen so now all of his passwords can be used by the thief. So I decided to get rid of one point. Ran the uninstall, system said was successful. However it is still there and pops up routinely. Your help desk told me yesterday this is not an Aol problem you need to contact the other company. Why?

Gold is the new Bronze.
Not an idea, but complaints. e mails disappear, can't delete e mails, e mails still there hiding behind welcome screen, crashing often, too many fricken ads(unbelievable). Fix these and I'll send more.

Every time I try to sign on I get the message that the software needed to sign on must be reloaded. Why was it erased at all?
When working off line w/Microsoft Word I keep getting a reminder that the software needed to sign-on to AOL needs to be added. Your pop-up message contaminated my Word data file and now I can't erase, close or access the file. Thanks a lot. I lost 1/2 hours work and now the file is inaccessible! It seems your software is erased every time I log off. Why? Why? I've been a loyal customer for over 25 years and you are on the verge of losing me.

I am American and now working internationally, based in UK. Why can't I get access to Gold?
My account has been totally screwed up of late. I can't search any of my online emails, new, old, saved, sent, etc. That is a huge problem since I have had an AOL account continuously since 1992!
2 weeks ago ALL of my new emails just vanished, no where to be found. What is weird is ALL 3100 of them are still showing as new, but only 30 are visible from last 2 weeks.
I am desperate to get this fixed and would even consider using Gold to retrieve them and be able to store everything on my laptop. But…
