Throwing my Bills in Spam?
Now you are throwing my bills in Spam and correspondence from my Senators! Knock it off. You don't have that right!
The best way to resolve this is to mark the emails as “Not Spam”, that way you can train the spam filter to better identify important emails in the future. Also if you use a mobile device or email client to access your mail over IMAP, please check the Spam filters in that application, to make sure it’s not marking important emails as spam.
Regarding the suspicious email you received, please check the article below to learn more about identifying phishing emails, and how to report them.

Provide your customers a number to call when they are experiencing an outage of cable, phone or internet
BGE does it why not you
AOL is an email service provider not an internet, cable or phone service provider. We recommend contacting your internet service provider for such issues.

HOME AREA
WHY AFTER 2 OR 3 ARTICLES POSTED IN HOME AREA DO YOU HAVE TO START PAYING FOR THEM? If I am already paying for AOL why do you have to sign up to pay for newspaper articles?
The news articles hosted on AOL.com can be read for free with no restriction, but if you open one of partner news sites, they might have a limit on how many free articles can be read per day.

Getting your jollies
You peeps must really get your jollies by putting those friggin' video clips in all the time. Just trying to read the story on Lincoln and one of those **** things kept flopping around the bottom corner. I'd shut it off, and it would reappear on the next page. Do you peeps pay any attention to what you are providing? That **** is really distracting. One of these days I'll get tired of it all and cancel AOL and go somewhere else. This used to be a great site, but it has gone steadily down hill.

I pay for AOL Gold. I thought if I had a problem it would be free to get help. Wrong. I was just charged $150.
Stop charging extra fees to fix a problem you created.
The person you called might have been someone posing as an AOL consultant and claiming to help with problems relating to passwords, line noise, hackers or other technical issues. If you suspect someone is posing as an AOL consultant, do not give them any of your personal information (name, address, password, social security number, bank information, etc.).
For help with technical issues related to your AOL account and benefits, you can call us at 1-800-827-6364. You can also contact our mail team at aolmailquestions@aol.com and one of our technicians can assist you with any technical issues.

How do I mark an e-mail address as NOT SPAM
Used to be when AOL was good, all you had to do was click a button
marked "This is not SPAM" and from that point on the address would be
received just fine. I seem to be able to "add" an address to the SPAM
list but not "Allow" one from "NOT" being marked "SPAM"If a legitimate email goes to Spam folder please highlight the email and click on “This is Not Spam”.

I deleted one of my screen names years ago and want to get it back. AOL won't let me, even though no one is using it. No reason, just BS.
LET MEMBERS TAKE BACK THEIR DELETED SCREEN NAMES IF NO ONE ELSE IS USING IT! AOL keeps giving baloney answers as to why the former screen name can't be used again. After 26 years, if AOL won't let me have my own screen name back, perhaps I should leave AOL. No one has any answers, just empty apologies and ******** excuses.
Thanks for reaching out. As stated in AOL’s Terms Of Service, if a user doesn’t log in to their account for 12 months (i.e., if an account is unused or dormant for 12 months), it is deactivated. Unfortunately, you will not be able to reactivate it or re-create the same email address. Getting blue bar when trying to correct words that deletes the following words
When I'm typing and make a mistake, I go back to correct it and I get a BLUE bar, that deletes letters on the next word. I have to change positions, correct the misspelling and then put it back in place. That happens with no warning. And it happens, no all the time, but a lot of times.
In order to disable the overtype mode, press the Insert key on your keyboard, then you can please the cursor behind the word you want to delete.

I want it free like all my friends still have it, I really can't afford this extra money with a small retirement fee each month. why was I made to take it? how can I go back to how it was???
We developed this new and enhanced AOL Desktop Gold software to replace the older AOL Desktop versions in market today. However, you will always be able to access your email through an external browser like Internet Explorer at: mail.aol.com

Photo issues in Win 10
Win 10, new computer. After adding 6 photos to email body like I have always done in Win 7, AOL goes poof. Cannot get it to stay signed back in as that email was frozen there and would not close out. AOL not responding then poof, gone again. After wasting 15 minutes, I restarted computer and AOL finally opened and stayed open less that email that froze it. Gold is Fool's Gold
Gold is Fool's Gold --- if you don't have a current "AOL" backup from Gold and you lose your system, you are screwed. Gold is tied to the system it is installed on and NOTHING can be recovered without signing on to your system that is now trashed.
That is total ******** !!
You can create a back-up of your personal data file, by using the Export feature in AOL Desktop Gold, and restore the back-up using the Import feature.
The back-up created with the Export feature, can be stored on an external storage device, and moved to another device. To learn more about the Import and Export features, check the section titled ‘Export and import mail and personal data in Desktop Gold’ from the following article: https://help.aol.com/articles/aol-desktop-importing-your-personal-information (edited)
