  10. I have had aol email for decades...please restore the previous categories Old Mail and New Mail and discontinue the Inbox and Unread Mail!

    Please return the old system of emails with New Mail and Old Mail rather than Inbox and Unread. Very Very Very confusing after using the traditional method for 30+ years! Change can be good but is completely unnecessary and causing problems in this case.

  12. Stop all SPAM mail that have vulgar words

    Why is it, that with all the technology we / you (AOL) have, you (AOL) can NOT block Spam mail with words like: *, *, *, ***, etc.? I have been a member for MANY, MANY years, but am VERY seriously thinking about switching to another service that may "filter" their mail better!

  14. Do not download System Mechanic. It is MALWARE

    Earlier in March I downloaded the free trial System Mechanic. Almost immediately after running a "deep clean" I started experiencing strange behavior. In particular I'd have to hit the refresh button 2-3 times to get a program such as a bank login page to completely populate. Ultimately my system froze, ctrl-alt-del was unresponsive. The only recourse was to reboot. But that hardly helped. My computer would freeze within 2-3 minutes of the reboot. Ultimately I had to have the disk wiped and my OS reinstalled. That cost me plenty both in terms of time and money!

  17. You can improve in many ways. The majority of the "news" you give is entertainment gossip. You repeat things day after day.

    Present things for an adult audience - not for gossip mongers. Give news - not speculation or innuendo. Hire someone who knows how to write and edit. Be universal - you'd never know that any country outside the US exists. Do your work or drop everything and let someone else take over. Stop telling us day after day that you can get a $10,000 bag at Amazon for next to nothing. Stop writing articles like, "I asked 10 chefs what butter to use and they all concurred." Who cares?
