return to original msg after replying
In the new format, after replying to a message the original message goes into the OLD MAIL folder. I prefer returning to the original message and then moving it into another folder if I need to save for reference. Can't figure out how to return to the original message after I reply. Settings have some about Mark as Read - Immediately, 2 seconds, 5 seconds or Never but doesn't seem to work or can't figure out how that works. If anyone has an idea, let me know.

message count
For some reason on the new mail, it no longer tells me how many E-mails I have precisely. on the older one it would tell me I had 7052 new E-mails, now it just says 7.1k, which isn't helpful if I want to use that number to figure out if I've gotten new mail or not, my desktop has plenty of room for a bigger number, can this please be returned to the way it was before.

"Enter" key stopped working to add a line break. impossible to add new line and mail is now unusuable
For whatever reason, today, the "enter" key stopped working to make a line break to separate paragraphs, and I don't see another way to do it.
This makes it completely impossible to format emails and fundamentally breaks writing emails.
This needs to be fixed immediately

Sync the program with the phone app.

Give us CompuServe branding back!
I actually really like the new AOL Mail compared to the old version, but I really would like CompuServe branding for my CompuServe accounts! There is AIM, America Online, and AOL.com themes but no CompuServe themes available!

Why do I need to sign in to submit feedback?
I'm already signed in to see the feedback button in my mail view, so why do I need to "sign in" again?

back button
Previously, if one closed an email they were reading it would just go to Old mail, and user would be back in the New mail view.
But also, if one clicked the BACK Button when responding to an email, the email itself would be back onscreen and I could use a move function to file the email for later.
When I click Back in your "improved' interface it takes me back to the New Mail view and I have to then switch to Old Mail, highlight the mail and move it from Old. Triple the clicks from previous and NOT…

What do we NOT know? Impending sale of AOL? New bid to get customers?
Why on earth would they want to expunge their loyal customer base? Why would they want their mail to look and behave like gmail? Why the 6 point font that only 30 year olds and under can read? What is going on that would signal this kind of a "fix" for a system that clearly the users DID NOT ASK FOR OR WANT? I am not a conspiracy theorist but a business person. Businesses don't make enormous changes without enormous changes in mind.

AOL not listening & bullying might have worked 2 years ago but NOT NOW. You don't listen. Fine, Peace out!
I am already selecting my new email company and one of the criteria I am using is receptiveness to clients, in general. You have thousands of clients who have reacted to stylistic and discriminatory choices you made in your new format. You have ignored every single one of us with the "reviewing feedback" gaslighting. You fixed something that was not broken. If we wanted Gmail features, we would have gmail...some of us do have gmail for professional uses but AOL for personal use for 30 years. And, there it is. After 30 years of loyalty, you decide our opinions and…

I will go back to the classic version. I cannot make the column as I want, having the delete set to the extreme right is very annoying
Make the column moveable as it is with the classic version, very simple and easy to do , for now I do not see any improvment passing to the new version, thus I will stick to the classic one ...

When I check boxes to keep mail as unread, I should not have to individually go back an uncheck each one. Who thought that was a good idea?
