Yes, I get very very tired of this and then when you DO open a story, you have to scroll through twenty pages of ads to get a little snippet of the entire story. There must be a better way. This is really tiresome. Enough to make me reconsider AOL.

On my 15.6 inch Toshiba lap top the GOLD email screen covers two thirds of the desk top when opened and starts displaying advertisements. The email screen cannot be reduced any further horizontally but can be reduced a bit vertically. AOL 9.8.2 allowed you to reduce an email horizontally to about 1.5 inch wide. I used this frequently to reduce an email that I was replying to while viewing its content while composing the reply. Really handy when cut and pasting email content into replying email. Ditch the advertisements in the GOLD email and bring back the ability to reduce email screens.

This is disgusting with all these ads. My computer freezes every time I look at the news. Been saying this for a while but I really have to get out of AOL due to all the problems. Nothing is getting fixed. All they are good at doing is closing our posts if they can't fix the problem.I've seen many people post the same problems months ago and those problems are still not fixed.

I am so sick of dealing with AOL welcome oages and articles...They have so many ads the articles are barely visible to read...I get my news on other browsers now because of this...AOL has gone down hill in the 30 years I have used it...

MOVE YOUR ADS TO THE BOTTOM OF EMAIL WINDOW, WGHERE IT USE TI BE, YOU ARE NOW TAKING UP ENTIRE SCREEN WITH EMAIL WINDOW, NO ROOM TO DO SIDE BY SIDE WINDOWS FOR REPORTS, "ONE OF THE MAIN FEATURES ABOUT AOL IS A LARGE DESKTOP,
MOST PEOPLE DONT PLAY GAMES ON COMPUTERS, LIKE KIDS MANY OF US WORK, WE NEED WINDOWS SIZE,ADJUSTIBLE.
THIS IS THE 10TH TIME I HAVE POSTED THISDO NOT INSULT ME BY TELLING ME HOW TO RESIZE SIZE A WINDOW. A 3 YEAR OLD CHILD IN AMERICA KNOWS HOW TO DO THAT..
AOL GOLD "EMAIL PAGE" WINDOW DOES NOT RESIZEYOUR WINDOWS DO NOT SHRINK THEY ARE 12" WIDE=RIDICULES.

I don’t know why I’m even bothering to write this and I think it’s a safe bet I’ll get no response from AOL because, judging by all the posts I see complaining about the very same issue it’s obvious AOL is just letting us blow off steam and has no intention of changing anything. But I’m so aggregated, I can’t help myself so here’s my two cents.
I’ve been an AOL member for over 20 years. A paying member. Not one of the freeloaders that grab it off the internet.
Back when I signed up I think the fee was under ten bucks a month. Now I see I'm paying nearly forty dollars every month and I’m constantly being barraged with annoying distracting flashing ads. I can understand if we’re sneaking in the back door and taking advantage of AOL services for free but I’m not. As I said, as an AOL member I pay nearly forty dollars every month and we shouldn’t have to endure annoying ads constantly flashing at us.
What do you say AOL? Do you care enough to help us out? Whatever the clowns are paying you to annoy us can’t be more than what you’ll lose as more and more of us are consider saying Sayonara and wouldn’t be so anxious to jump ship if you step up.
Stop forcing us to see those obnoxious flashing ads. I pay nearly forty dollars a month and shouldn't have to see distracting things. -

Complaint -- Cheat Sheet should not be allowed in AOL Gold. It's ALL intrusive commercials -- no clear steady space for the article.

PLEASE! GET RID OF THE MANY ADS ESPECIALLY IN THE MAILBOX AND IN THE NEWS. I AM USING AOL LESS AND LESS BECAUSE OF THIS AND AM NOW THINKING ABOUT OPENING A GMAIL ACCOUNT AND DROPPING AOL. THERE IS NOT ONE GOOD THING ABOUT AOL GOLD. WHEN i TRY TO POST ABOUT VALID CONCERNS MY POSTS GET CLOSED AND IF I AM GIVEN A SOLUTION THE SOLUTION DOES NOT WORK. AND THE BROWSER IS HORRIBLE AND IS NOT EVEN RECOGNIZED IN SOME OF THE PLACES I VISIT.
