AOL is RIDICULOUS with their 2 step verification
won't let you up date contact info; just goes in circles; says you won't be asked to verify when you sign in again but each AND EVERY TIME you try to sign in it asks for 2 step; only way around it is to create a new acct. with the correct information AND THEN you loose all your emails which can not be recovered; they want you to pay for help when it's THEIR F'd up requests that are the problem----lost CRITICAL communications that are causing a multitude of problems. yall need to make it easier to where yall can send a recovery password to a different opton email if my recent one is connected i cant log in i cant connect to my old email to change my password for it so how can i get in like if my gmail is connected i should be able to do a password reset to my old account i cant get in it at all

Better over the phone verification!
My wife spent almost a 30 trying to reset account and was denied!!! She couldn’t remember security questions that she set many years ago. We’ve had aol for probably 30 years!! I know I’m speaking to a foreign national and not an American customer service hub. This system is bs🤬🤬🤬🤬

AOL is publiched help support 24/7 however, today Sunday November 23, 2024 none of AOL telephone numbers published do not answer the calls.

AOL recording said "We are closed please call again" This recording do not support the way AOL published for service 24/7. It Must change if they seek client to remain paying you over $250.00 a year.

Could you please hire Assist personnel who are actually trained to provide technical support? And a place to report customer service issues?
In the course of attempting to solve an email access problem, in November 2023, an AOL help desk technician deleted my email account and thereby deleted the email files on my desktop. Today, I attempted to have the files restored by your Assist team. The first technician searched Google for answers. When making changes, updates, etc., please give notice in advance then provide a readable guide or FREE information to navigate update.
I just did: Inform in advance, provide readable print information to navigate the so-call-improvements, and provide FREE live phone advice. I find this new update nearly impossible to work with.
