  2. AOL adding an unremoveable header/footer to a composed body email during printing!

    How to delete auto-printing of Date, Subject, To and From when printing emails!  I have copied and pasted into a blank composed email for 30 years.  NEVER have these AOL auto headers/footers appeared until last week!  In print preview, I've always turned off headers/footers and I would be able to print just the body of the email I composed.  I  still turn those printers options off but now AOL has attached these titles (Subject, Date, To and From) when I'm simply printing an email that I'm not even sending to anyone!  My AOL address is autoprinting at the top of…

  3. All E-Mails Going Into "Trash" Folder

    Within the last few months, all my e-mails are being channeled into my "Trash" folder. I can't see a reason for this. Any ideas?

  5. New version of gold doesn't work on windows 10

    When the update just happened it enabled admin permissions and windows 8 compatibility mode. You can't change these things or the software doesn't work. Then they tell you when the software opens that it doesn't work correctly with admin permissions enabled.

  7. What is this about? "error: desktop gold was launched with administrator privilege

    I've been on AOL for 26 yrs and I've never seen this msg before today, what does it mean??: Error: Desktop Gold was launched with administrator privileges. Using Desktop Gold with elevated permissions may lead to unexpected behavior and/or a loss of personal data that is saved on this PC. Please close and relaunch the Desktop Gold as a regular user for optimal functionality.

  8. aol is absolutely horrible they seem to do updates and you cant even sign on half the time i am about to cancel what they offer not worth

    aol is absolutely horrible not worth the few dollars i pay monthly i have 3 computers and have constant issues with aol soon i will cancel them

  9. Desktop gold should be free

    I get it aol has been in a bad financial spot for years but this new desktop software should be free instead of costing 6$ just to beta test and be nostalgic with the classic sounds, i only signed up for a 30 day free trial and then canceled it cause idk why something as simple as this isnt free....im only limited to using 4 or 5 features unless i pay money which is not right

    At least be free to use while the subscriptions are optional

    Help Fight SPAM. Devise some AI that will read the often duplicate secondary part of a SPAM address, which is often computer generated, even though the first part has the same name or vernacular, and block it. It is stand-out when receiving these duplicate SPAM Emails that only the second part of the address has changed in order that the junk mail can keep getting through. We pay AOL on a monthly basis for some security, and privacy, and hopefully some defense against this garbage. Give us "value" in return.

    You used to mark articles that scrolled throught the Welcome screen that were clearly advertisements as such. Have you stopped that practice? If so, please reinstate.

  12. Mute Function Doesn't Work & Made Numerous Complaints

    I've tried to repeatedly mute two agitator screen names "Larr y" and "Billionaire Tears" and their names & posts disappear for about a minute and then come back. Are these paid posters or protected posters? They're always negative and taunting and sometimes post lies. As a customer, I'm fed up with AOL either not fixing this function or allowing these people to ruin my chat experience.

  13. Need link extension for to AOL Browser for Acrobat Reader

    Links don't don't work in the Adobe Acrobat Reader anymore using AOL browser. They only work now in Microsoft or the Google browsers. I don't want to use those browsers as default. Can AOL add the Acrobat Reader "link extension" to the AOL browser please?

  15. Allow AOL users to do away with the VIEWS folder (and sub-folders) in our AOL Mailbox.

    Being unable to delete the "views" folder in my AOL mailbox is a huge irritation to me.  Is there a way to do so that I'm unaware of? I really hope that it's not a matter of  AOL assuming it knows best about what its users need and want . . .

  17. File Downloading from a Specific Website

    Cannot download a file from mytrs.texas.gov. his is the first time it happened. Everytime I tried to download a file from this website, there's an error message pop-up. Error: Your pop-up blocker is enabled and may be preventing this document from opening. Please review your browser settings to disable the pop-up blocker. AOL agents already tried to look into it, but it seems like the option to remove the blocker is not available at this moment

  18. Desktop Gold is not working properly due to error message/using Administrator Priv

    Signed in to AOL Desktop Gold through out the day as usual. Then this afternoon, received AOL message that I should not be using administrator privileges because it was a security issue and to sign in again without using administrator privileges'. Unable to determine how to do that.

  20. KEEP BROWSER MINIMIZED

    Upon opening AOL Desktop Gold I was able to have a minimized browser so the whole program did not take up the whole screen. However, currently when I go to open the program, the whole screen is maximized and I have to also manually open up my mail. Whereas, before the mail would automatically open up within the minimized browser. Need help fixing this
