HOW DO i QUIT RECEIVING ALL THE **** MAIL AOL ALLOWS?
Why does AOL (with it's new higher rates) EVEN Allow anyone to be able to post any explicit sexually orientated emails with words like: , *, **, *, ****, etc.? I should NOT have to put them in my Spam or Blocked Folders on my own! THEY SHOULDN'T EVEN BE ALLOWED TO BE POSTED! PERIOD!

News & Weather -Unable to edit city
On Welcome Screen, "News & Weather" keeps changing my city. This has happened many times in past, but I was able to edit with my zipcode to show correct city & delete wrong city showing.
Today there was another city, so when I tried to edit/change name with zipcode it's adding a duplicate of the wrong city. Also, unable to delete wrong cities! Unable to edit, add or delete. Update removed playing custom .wav files
Why did you have to change the desktop software to stream the .wav files? What good purpose did this serve? I had a very custom /wav file in place of the default welcome.wav that played the dial up noise followed by welcome and you broke it!!!!!!

why will aol not answer the support number. tried for hours. it is ridiculous when a gold member cannot contact support.

AOL software stopped working completely on 6/30/2026 on 3 apple device and one Windows 11 device, what the heck is going on at AOL?
Could not access email or anything else, deleted software on each device multiple times and re installed with AOL software from Apple App Store, 1 device still not working correctly and cannot access Apple Cash on my wife's IPhone and of course will never work on the new IPad. What in the world has happened to AOL? Should we immediately switch to gmail? Please advise ASAP

Mailbox Not Working 6/29/2026 (Update Fixed at 8:58PM)
Browser works fine. Welcome and Goodbye work. But the email will not load. I have some unread mail in my AOL app and webmail but the desktop client will not show the emails and will not say You've Got Mail. This problem just started today on both my desktop and laptop computers. Is anyone having this same issue tonight?

i selected to open my aol desktop gold with mailbox, not welcome screen - but welcome screen still opens
the mail settings to open mailbox instead of welcome screen still opens welcome but should not!

The OLD e-mail works so much better than your NEW SYSTEM. Will it be permanent?

cefsharp browser
I understand that back when I started with AOL in 1993, the cefsharp browser subprocess was the method for AOL to connect to the internet. This is 2026 you really need to update the code so not to be dependent on this subprocess. It takes up extra memory, once on it keeps generating multiple instances of the program that eats memory. It seems to cause other multiple issues too. I am finding on line websites that do not work with AOL but works fine with Edge or Chrome. I have to wonder if this sub routine is causing the issue.…

On AOL Desktop Gold before i could only see tsubject and the sender , now i can als see from the preview the content of the email as well. i don't like that, the old lay out was better

AOL does not let me use my saved password from my browser.
I have to enter my password manually each and every time I sign-in. Is that absurd or what. No other site does this! For what purpose is AOL doing this?
