   I have trouble keeping identical pw's on my iphone and on laptop.Sometimes I wind up different pw's for an account on my laptop and on my iphone. I also don't want all my accounts to sync. I have eliminated my Icloud sign onand my FIND MY PHONE. My idea?Have a simpleton's sign-on category PS I have a tremor in my hands which complicates everything. I don't want my information to be mined no matter what device I'm using.Oh-One more thing. 3. Why is AOL Still SO Clueless?

   Why is it that I can click to turn OFF all my subscriptions to AOL and still being SPAMMED by you? Aren't you smart enough to realize this is alienating people? Why do you abuse those who want to be a customer? As poorly as AOL has done for 4 decades, you would think they would welcome new people and make them feel welcomed and safe here?

   The people that have run AOL for so long are clueless and inept! Why do you continue down this path?

   A true sign of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results, and wondering why no one likes you?

   Look in the mirror and get right with yourselves!

   Dear Sirs,

   for the second time in four weeks, today I have not been able to post a comment.

   I complained the last time and suddenly, yesterday I could post comments. I did post a few, but I cannot
   imagine how any of them could possibly have infringed your Terms and Conditions - or whatever you
   call your Censorship these days. For about two hours yesterday, I could participate in the Forums, but
   today, that right has again been withdrawn.

   Please do let me know what it is that I have supposed to have done wrong so that I can ensure that
   I avoid being so evil in the future. My only other solution is simply to remove myself totally from AOL
   which would be a pity since I have been loyal to AOL for more than 30 years and have never ever set
   out to offend anyone nor have I ever acted as a Troll. The fact that I use my original French ancestral
   name should inform you that I have a serious and mature nature - being in my late 70's - so having
   recently been criticised for having a "stupid name" by somebody using the name Terry 1 and then
   retorting to him that his name suggested chocolate, to which he replied my answer was a "THINLY
   VEILED RACIST REMARK" which it was not because, firstly that was not my intention and secondly
   Terry Chocolate manufactures: Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate and White Chocolate. He also told me he
   was going to report me, so if this present situation has anything to do with that incident about three weeks
   ago, please also investigate how and why he should have been insulting about my French ancestor, who, for
   your information, was a Steward for William the Conqueror in 1088, has 18 families in the UK descended
   from him, and his name also led to the development and use of the word Thesaurus.

   One final comment on racism. I have worked in 20 countries around the world and have made friends in all
   of them. I am not and have never been racist, although I have experienced it myself in other countries therefore
   it is something I would never do to anybody. However, I will react when I come across people whom I find to
   be distasteful, but this inevitably is based upon the way that they relate and behave with me. I will be nice and
   polite to anybody, regardless of their ethnicity, provided they treat me in a similar manner.

   I look forward to getting your reply as soon as possible because I do not feel that a loyal customer of AOL
   who has never suffered any problems until recently, should be treated in this way. Its almost as if you simply
   would prefer customers such as myself, should merely move their business over to gmail. I already do
   have a gmail account, so I can do that if you merely wish me to cancel the direct debits you earn money
   from on a monthly basis.

    no answer yet as to why i cannot see nor post anything on the 'news' (as you see it) articles. as far as i can see, you seem to only ban people from seeing or posting anything that disagrees or have an opinion that is different than yours. where's our free speech? obviously, aol is a total leftist leaning organization who doesn't want anything that veers from their way of thinking, anyone who doesn't goose step with them, gets banned. way to go lefty! you should be allowing people see or to post ideas or comments, (within reason without foul language, etc.), that is free speech, but then again, there are those politicians who are trying to stifle our free speech rights and many companies are falling in line with them to remain in their favor, aol included it seems. if you are banning people from seeing or commenting, then we have a right to know why!

Can you tell me why non off my emails those which are relate to promoting world peace for stopping all these wars and injustice and unfair things going on the world? I have some relatives and friends who are among those leaders emails list around the world which I sent several time emails but when I contact them with not my computer and email address some other, they told me none of my emails relate to world peace been deliver to them and they asked me I have to follow-up this matter which I am doing now and I need your answer why?     Stop being one sided with news and give real news. Everything is pro democrat and attacks republicans and still focuses on Trump even though he has been out of office for over a year. When someone takes over it is ridiculous to focus on a past president for mistakes a current president is making. I pay for service to focus on current events and real news. Am ready to cancel my service which I pay a lot of money for which is one sided. Spread news to be real on both sides and not one sided to spread agendas. That is the problem with news today, is that is run by media that is driven by what is by views to get ratings instead of truth. You will eventually lose me as a customer and I will spread this word to others for this reason as this is ridiculous. Don't even open up stories anymore as it is click bate. Just show me real stories on my news feeds or lower my cost as all I do is check my emails at this point, or just lose me as a customer. I remember when news told the truth, but did research when news became competitive to tell fake stuff for ratings and money like AOL has become. Thank you.

20. Instructions for setting up outlook as a desktop agent is sparse and incomplete

    The help suggests Outlook as a desktop app can be configured to work. It worked right up until you change the authentication scheme. It also references app specific passwords as a solution but fails to explain what apps OR how Outlook and AOL will know. I created a password for outlook, it does not work. The help fails to explain if the name placed on the password matters and if it does how exactly. What do I tell Outlook about that password if anything? My accounts are from Verizon, the help suggests that I must use specific POP/IMAP names/ports. Sadly, there is no single help page that ties it all together into one coherent "this will absolutely' work set of instructions.
    I found one users comments that tried to explain how they solved this issue but following their comments was very difficult as they lacked story telling skills. I tried anyway and it failed. No attempted server/ports password app/password works.
