  1. I can not stop the message "do you want to delete" after trying to delete messages in bulk or single...very tiresome...seems to come and go.

    "Mail from contacts only" no longer shows up in my spam controls... Please put it back as it totally eliminates all unwanted mail in specifically all the sexual solicitations!

  3. Desktop gold should be free

    I get it aol has been in a bad financial spot for years but this new desktop software should be free instead of costing 6$ just to beta test and be nostalgic with the classic sounds, i only signed up for a 30 day free trial and then canceled it cause idk why something as simple as this isnt free....im only limited to using 4 or 5 features unless i pay money which is not right

    At least be free to use while the subscriptions are optional

    I got to download desktop gold but its really irritating that i am only limited to just the browser and like 3 or 4 or so features unless i pay money, so i want the option for all of it to be free and the option to pay will still be there just....not be the solution to use it...cause why do i have to pay 6$ just to hear some nostalgia ?.

  5. Home Depot emailed me 3 times today 1/28/25 didn't receive them. Wife emailed me from ther smart phone and it went to spam. what is going on

    Home Depot emailed me three times today/ 1/28/2025. I did not get the emails. My wife emailed me from her Smart Phone and it went into my spam folder. What is going on ?

  6. Unable to reach you by phone

    I have been tryingf to contact AOL all morning but the recording is not responding. "Please say the first three letters of your email address" . I kept saying them and getting a repeat over and over. I am paying for my AOL subscription and am fed up! Running out of time now, having wasted half the morning.
    I finally got through by asking for billing instead of Tech support. The wait time is 20 minutes. Dont have time and will likely drop AOL soon as I am wasting $5 month.

  8. Dark Settings Tabs

    The themes in the Personalization is great and adding a dark theme was a great idea. However, I have the dark theme applied but in the settings window, the tabs are still white (not the browser tabs but the tabs within settings for example backgrounds, sounds, toolbar, theme, & font and text). Everything else other than that is dark.

  9. Mute Function Doesn't Work & Made Numerous Complaints

    I've tried to repeatedly mute two agitator screen names "Larr y" and "Billionaire Tears" and their names & posts disappear for about a minute and then come back. Are these paid posters or protected posters? They're always negative and taunting and sometimes post lies. As a customer, I'm fed up with AOL either not fixing this function or allowing these people to ruin my chat experience.

  12. File Downloading from a Specific Website

    Cannot download a file from mytrs.texas.gov. his is the first time it happened. Everytime I tried to download a file from this website, there's an error message pop-up. Error: Your pop-up blocker is enabled and may be preventing this document from opening. Please review your browser settings to disable the pop-up blocker. AOL agents already tried to look into it, but it seems like the option to remove the blocker is not available at this moment

    Requesting a feature suggested in 2021. The "Save Window SIze and Position" for the Mailbox window should also save the column widths.
    The "Save Window Size and Position" should also save the column widths in the Mailbox window. Every time I select "Read" to open the Mailbox, I have to make the "My Mail Folders" column wider to fit all my folder names, and I have to make the "From" column wider to see more of the email addresses.     I am not receiving any images within my emails in 2025. What happened?? Please fix this. I need those images to come through

    It appears that AOL is investigating the issue but nothing has changed. I need images to come through in my emails.

  16. KEEP BROWSER MINIMIZED

    Upon opening AOL Desktop Gold I was able to have a minimized browser so the whole program did not take up the whole screen. However, currently when I go to open the program, the whole screen is maximized and I have to also manually open up my mail. Whereas, before the mail would automatically open up within the minimized browser. Need help fixing this

    Yes. Over the coming weeks you will receive a prompt to install .Net 8. This is a Windows requirement for AOL Desktop Gold to continue to make updates to its software and fix bugs that are reported by our community.

  20. PFC Import of old emails shows the date of 1/1/0001

    When I import a PFC with older emails, the ones older than the year 2000 or so all come in with a date of 1/1/0001. I called about this years ago and it still does the same thing. Please can this be fixed so I can get my emails back correctly????
