  3. Misleading advertising.

    I have been a paying customer of AOL for decades. Since AOL has been placing ads for a multitude of companies and squeezing them in on every tiny little space, we are seeing many many misleading ads. Not only are they misleading but just straight out LIES. AOL need to vet these ads more closely and not allow them at all. It is ridiculous how AOL is allowing such advertising.
    AOL NEEDS TO STOP IT NOW.

  4. Why can I not be able to choose the font, boldness, inclination that i want and retain that choice???

    I want to be able to choose and retain the font, boldness, inclination that I prefer without having to choose it again and again every time i write an email. Even after I choose the font I want... sometimes it will revert back the one I opted out of.... PLEASE CORRECT THIS FEATURE.... A.S.A.P

    This comment was rejected regarding the story on Jackie Robinson: "Jackie Robinson article on MLB legend's Army history restored to Department of Defense website after removal" Comment-Restored as it should be. He survived the scorn of people who felt he did not belong to become an inspiration to generations of black athletes & all sports fans. He was the role model for young blacks in all walks of life.     I’ve made numerous suggestions about your comments screening algorithm. One of those was the algorithm screens comments and flags for words used in the article I’m commenting about. There are two issues (at least) with a comment flagged as needing review!!! One, you printed a hateful story that itself violates my sensibilities and standards, and second, words or ideas expressed in the article are flagged as needing review or rejected.     It is becoming too difficult to read any AOL articles. Too many ads cover the content, and you must read between the ads -- sometimes only a line or two between the ads.

    I think AOL discourages all but their political dogma and censors those with different ideas.It is why I left AOL after so many years dating back to the middle 1990's.

  18. Allow me to comment. I have had AOL since I got my first computer. I had always been able to sign in, read articles and comment. No longer!

    Since I have had AOL, pay and use auto deduct from my financial account I am in good standing. I could sign in, read articles and comment. As of a few months ago I am now required to sign in to comment when I am signed in to my account. Today I am not allowed to sign in to comment. If AOL wants me gone, tell me and I will save the monthly fee I pay. I was upset having to sign in twice but did so since I had been with them so long. Now I am allowed to…
