How do you transfer browser saved passwords to a new PC? Export does not do it.
Transferring Browser passwords to new computer. Need to find a way to copy/transfer AOL Browser passwords (saved in settings-browser-passwords) to a new PC. Used a Laplink PCmover program (with ethernet cable) to transfer most of my Win 10 PC to a new Win 11 PC. Program seemed to work OK, The only thing I noticed at 1st was that ALL my saved passwords for all my Favorites site were not in the Settings-Browser-Password area. (and I must have 50-75 or more saved and still on my old PC) How do I get them transferred?

AOL icon will no longer show on taskbar
It says it will show icon and notification when it next becomes active. But I am signed on so it IS active. I also restarted the computer but icon still won't show on taskbar. I believe this started with your last download. There is no longer a Report A Bug Service??

Resolution options
I cannot change the magnification! I need to decrease the view to be able to see ALL of the game I'm trying to play. I used to be able to hold the ctrl button down and use the mouse wheel to fit more in, but now it's USELESS! The aol Tech THAT I PAY FOR could only change the resolution on my WHOLE COMPUTER! This left me with tiny icons and print EVERYWHERE ELSE! When I was not satisfied, he closed chat and left me stranded with the awful "new" resolution. It took me a while to change…
To zoom in on a page you can use the keyboard combinations of “Ctrl” and "+ ". Also, you can click on Edit on the top left corner of the screen and select Zoom from the drop-down menu.

Stop the webpage from freezing up -- it wont move after enlarging the page
This had just started in the last 10 days. If you try to enlarge the screen page --IT FREEZES UP==LOCKS UP and you can't get out to the page

Headline articles do not match clicked story
Come on AOL!! Your main headline articles don't match you story when clicked on. Example: Main headline "Guys trying to open locked gang safe get huge break", click on that title and it goes to: "Money Versed" 40 ways to make money without getting a real job.
A couple of headlines later: Main headline: "Ancient item leaves experts admitting they were wrong", click on that title and it goes to the same: "Money Versed" 40 ways to make money without getting a real job".
You also really need to ***** down on your editors and the reporters to "PROOF-READ"…Please try clearing the Browser Footprints and let us know if the issue persists:
1. In the top left corner of the AOL Desktop window, click “Edit” then choose “Select Footprints to Clear” from the drop-down menu.
2. Select “Clear Footprints” from the Browser Settings.No need to wait for a confirmation message, the Footprints will be cleared immediately.

Slow Response Loading Welcome Page and Changing Screen Names
The AOL tech on 7/2/20 sent a Bug report indicating my Welcome Screen and changing screen names were slow in responding. She said the issues were intermittent and said the issue was with my computer. Yes, on VERY FEW occasions, it is intermittent. BUT THAT IS A FALSE ANALYSIS.
As a 23-year paid member and before AOL Gold, I used an older PC and router and slower Internet speeds, and never had a slow running computer using AOL. So, why now? All other browsers work fine ALL OF THE TIME.

The personal filing cabinet is stored in a local database folder, which can be opened by accessing the path below in the Windows Run box (press the Windows key + R): LOCALAPPDATA\AOLDesktopData\db"My computer answers:
"Windows cannot find LOCALAPPDATA\AOLDesktopData\db".The correct path for the AOL Desktop Gold database folder is “LOCALAPPDATA\AOLDesktopData\db” (without quotes).

I want to remove the adds that appear on the right hand corner of the welcome page or try to make it smaller so t doesn't over power the screen.

I'm a USA Citizen and Don't Speak German. Why Does AOL Think I Do?
Every time I try to submit feedback on one of your many inane ads (which I should never receive because I'm a paying member), the responses appear in German. Why?

Since updating to the latest version, I do NOT like having to grant you access to make changes to my computer every time I log on and off!!!
This feature was not in the previous version of AOL. Take it out of the latest version.
Right-Click on the AOL Desktop Gold shortcut, and select Properties, and from the Compatibility tab uncheck “Run this program as an administrator”.

Email is not updating
For the past few days my email is not current. I know there are new mails because they come through on my phone. But Desktop Gold on my computer is not updating. I tried the "refresh mail" but this does nothing. It only updates if I completely shut it down and resign in. HELP!

I was not receiving any email for the day. This went on for 3 days and I had to call AOL to fix it...very frustrated and time consuming.
Every day I try to access my email and all I get is the email from the day before. I had to call 3 times so AOL could fix the problem.

Bug in New Spam Settings
I mistakenly added a word to the list of specific words and phrases (then realized it was a bad idea, as now hundreds of emails are being sent to the Spam Folder). When I try to remove it, I get an error: "We seem to have trouble sending this request. Please try again in 5 minutes. Code: Forbidden." No matter how many times I've tried, the "spam" word I want to delete won't go away! Please fix this!! I can provide a screenshot if you need it.

Why did AOL Gold change my settings on my laptop?
When I download AOL Gold it changed my file type associations for .htm and .html to AOL Gold. I never authorized this. What other covert changes did you also do to my computer? I absolutely do not trust AOL at all. If AOL was trustworthy, they would have a delivered a quality product first time.

FIX THIS PLEASE!!!
I continue to have issues sending emails with embedded graphics - I get the email all ready to send and press SEND and it doesnt send. The word SEND continues to be in BOLD and not grayed out. It NEVER sends! Then I have to copy/paste the entire email over and make my attachments one more time. THEN it will send. When I copy and try to paste a second image, it will paste the first or previous image instead. Please fix this! It's very frustrating!
I have to shut down and restart in order to paste the current image I want to paste. It pastes the previous image instead of the current copied image. I've sent feedback about this problem before, but it has not been fixed. Are you listening, AOL Gold?
