Since not everyone with aol was forced to accept aolgold I fully expect aolgold to provide me with all of the features that I have had.
I want the edit feature, my choice of backgrounds, colors, calendar, etc. I definitely feel discriminated against with this substandard model. I keep getting refused when I try to send emails with pictures in them for some annoying code of numerous numbers.. I want to know why I continue to receive notices that I have not yet terminated my old aol also. It's so helter skelter if whomever is sending them doesn't even have a record that I'm already being punished with aolgold. I received a "popup message" on AOL for an outfit called "PeopleWhiz" proporting that it contained hundreds and hundreds of records of people which included background, criminal and all other types of data on just about everyone in the country. I decided to give it a try and used it to search my own name and found that it contained primarily false and incorrect data, or data which pertains to other people having a similar name without any regard to associating the information to the proper person. What should "Mail waiting to be sent' DO??. I think as in 9.8.2 if one decides to hold back an uncompleted letter and saves it in MWTBSent. One should be able to go to that letter and continue to make changes on it. NO WAY!!! That letter is frozen and can no longer be…

AOL Desktop Gold has a new way of spell checking your emails. This is done automatically, in real time, as you compose your messages.
When the AOL Desktop Gold detects a spelling error, the word is highlighted by a red line under it. (Click the link below to see an image for an example)

AOL will not fix constant running background processes from AOL Gold in Windows 10 slowing all systems due to this - they fall a deaf ear!!
AOL Gold on Windows 10 will not stop running multiple background processes for the last 2 months. Gold & W 10 all up to date. No new antivirus installed - always same Norton for years. Worked fine for almost a year. Uninstalled & reinstalled by your people 10 times, never fixed. No one at AOL will fix this for us, called a dozen times & we pay $13.99 a month for this! Fix the email so when you delete the mail you opened so it doest fade into the mail box
fix the mail box when you open a new mail then close it. It will fades into the mail box and takes forever to go away. Then it tells me AOL is not responding. Also when you try to open a new mail it will not open until the ad loads Which sometimes take a while and you set there and wait. You spend a'lot of time waiting on the ads to load very upsetting.

I spent 45 minutes on hold with two different people. The first just referred me to another who while trying to help me, dropped the call.
Hire people that know your software. The person in tech support did not know that your company has stopped separating emails from people in my address book and everyone else. So now, many of my important emails are going to the spam folder.

multiple aol desktop golds
How many computers can have aol desktop gold installed at one time? In other words, can I have more then two aol desktop gold softwares installed on multiple computers? Can I have three or five?
With most software out there, you can have from only one to up to three or five, but this info is nowhere to be found, even on google. AOL chat doesn't know which is weird.
There is no limit on the number of computers you can download and install the AOL Desktop on.

AOL Gold mail issues.
I'm having issues with sending multiple emails to multiple addresses. I keep getting an error message. I've tried to get help with this by talking to tech support. Nothing has been resolved. Email with AOL Gold has been a problem since it's inception. Why are we paying for an upgrade that is worse that the old software? And why can't we speak to someone who understands English not just speak it? Some problems can't be resolved by sitting at a computer with a step by step manual to follow. problems with saving emails on aol - There should be a search bar to put in the file & save on my PC is unclear
Problems with saving emails on AOL:
1. There should be a search bar to allow to go immediately with out having to scroll when very often the email goes into some wrong folder as I am scrolling & if I did not resend to myself before trying to save it to make sure I still have it if it does go into the wrong folder, it is lost.
2. Create a new folder should be at the top not the bottom

Approved emails are now landing in the spam folder and spam is in the approved emails.

Also, if you delete a few emails, the computers auto deletes ALL OF THEM. FIX THIS OR GIVE ME 98.2 back.

You've now found a way to post advertising in the white space behind our email? Just another way AOL has found to take up band space to make everything work slower and jam up which is a constant problem. I pay for this service. TAKE AWAY THE UNNECESSARY ADVERTISING!!!!! While you're at it, try to be a little less liberal in your "news reporting". Remember, I pay for this service. I don't pay for your liberal-slanted news or your excessive advertising.
