retrieving saved Favorites
The previous AOL saved Favorites that I could open. When opened, it was a list of all of my Favorites and all I had to do was click on one and the website opened.
This stupid Gold saves as a FAV file that cannot be opened matter what I try.PLEASE GO BACK TO THE GREAT PROGRAM THAT OPENED THE SAVED FAVORITES AS A LIST SO THAT THE WEBSITE I WANT CAN BE OPENED WITH JUST ONE CLICK!!!!!!!!!!!

Accessibility is TERRIBLE! I needed 7 - seven!- logins, 2 computer re-starts to read my email!!!

Error:Sender address rejected: not owned by user. I get this error when trying to set up our billing program to send automatic e-mail.
Trying to set up our billing program (CUSI) to send automatic e-mail responses. We've had CUSI installed on our computer for 3+ years and now are trying to set up the e-mail function.
We provided CUSI with our AOL account credentials to allow AOL to send the automatic e-mail's. The billing program can log into AOL, we don't have an issue until the e-mail is trying to send. We get an error message as follows:Sender address rejected: not owned by user

I WAS AGAINST THE IDEA OF AOL DESKTOP GOLD, BUT AFTER USING THE FAVORITE PLACES, I FIND IT IS A LOT EASIER THAN DRAGGING & ARRANGING NEW ADDITIONS TO THE LIST -OR- SCROLLING DOWN THE LIST OF MY 584 FAVORITES. Fix it, or NUMBER THE FAVORITES.
If you can not give us the way the FAVORITES used to be, I have an idea, NUMBER THE FAVORITES, so we can find them with their numeration, rather than going up and down every time trying to find our favorite. Give them each one a number so is going to be much faster and easier to find my favorites.

Mail jumble
Every so often my New mail gets all jumbled showing stuff from 2014, '15, etc. in no particular order. New mail is buried somewhere. The only way to restore it is to restart the computer.

AOL saved folders
I can access my saved emails on my phone app and on my ipad app. but on my computer with AOL desktop gold the folders have disappeared with no dropdown or other way to find them.

Need AOL V9.8.2 for dial-up.
I have an old functioning desktop computer with dial-up capability. I would like AOL to send me CD with the AOL V9.8.2 to install on this old computer. I also need CDs to install the AOL component software for AOL Dialer and AOL Shield as I am unable to download anything from the Internet because current browsers are not supported with this old computer. Please call. THere are so many problems that I can't describe them all. Should have been worked out in engineering. Jim Kimsey would roll over in his grave if this product had been produced when he founded AOL. This is NOT easy to use for email and reading things. AOL Gold needs a SHARE button so I can share information like pet food recalls with friends and family like I used to be able to do until AOL completely fcked up being able to share vital information by eradicating that option with its new unfriendly version. Why are we via my husband Paul Adler's bank account even bothering to remain paying AOL customers with a half ** constructed software service that is too paranoid and selfish to even provide a way to share information with others via our computer?

I'm trying to get to "Manage My Account" and your crumby software is running me around in circles. I can only get to a blank "Username Services" page.
Forget about the fact that I've had to enter all of my e-mail signatures twice now ... and that all of the other complaints about the software posted here seem accurate.

You obviously misunderstood, we didn't want your stationery, we want to be able to OUR OWN backgrounds like before. How difficult is that?
