  1. AOL GOLD IS REALLY BAD NEWS ON SO MANY LEVELS...

    REALLY BAD NEWS FROM ALL THOSE CHINESE TECHS WHO ARE TRYING TO REPAIR AND FIX REMNANTS OF AOL 9.8 WHICH WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE OATH PURCHASE. SO, NOW THEY ARE EMBARRASSED TRYING TO CATCH UP AND MAKE SOME SORT OF APPEARANCE. REALLY SAD AND DUMB, AND WE PAY FOR THIS?

    1- notified support about organizing favorites -
    response - thats the way it is + can not + will not be changed
    2 - at same time local news for location contained NO news for location , but contained news from 50 to 12,000 miles away - prior it contained news from local towns + area -

    I was just TRYING to do the IQ quiz on Trend Chaser. I gave up because those damned ads kept swirling aournd on the bottom corner. When I was taking those types of tests years ago, I do not remember having to put up with those things while trying to think. I don't know tho in the **** thinks this **** up.

  10. Tech support and the attitude that they have and just hang up on you when they cannot figure out how to fix a problem

    when i do a search in the Favorites due not being able to find the site listed in my favorites, which is rather long, it displays the site i want but doesn't show where the site is listed in my Favorites so i have to manually find it and move the site to where i want it listed. it would be great if when we search is to go right to where it is listed so we know exactly where it is listed. i have a lot of major favorites, i.e., truck issues, DAV, Bills, and a lot of sites…

    The radio button has been removed from the Address Card view. The ‘Primary E-Mail’ field will be the main email address that will show in your Address Book.

  20. Transparent PNG images with alpha channels show up black & are converted to JPG

    I am a Graphic Designer and have to email my iOS programmer 2600+ transparent PNG images to program into our iOS application. They have to be in PNG format. AOL Desktop Gold has a few programming flaws that need to be fixed immediately. When I copy any PNG image into the write mail window, AOL incorrectly flattens the transparent PNG image making the transparent area BLACK in color and ALSO changes the file format from PNG to a flattened JPG image. We can NOT use JPG images at all as they lack an alpha channel.

    As a workaround, please attach the PNG files to the email, as opposed to embedding them into the email body. To attach the files, click on the ‘Attach File’ button at the bottom left corner of the Write mail window.
