Amateur Software
I'm trying to get to "Manage My Account" and your crumby software is running me around in circles. I can only get to a blank "Username Services" page.
Forget about the fact that I've had to enter all of my e-mail signatures twice now ... and that all of the other complaints about the software posted here seem accurate.

AOL Gold needs a SHARE button so I can share information like pet food recalls with friends and family like I used to be able to do until AOL completely fcked up being able to share vital information by eradicating that option with its new unfriendly version. Why are we via my husband Paul Adler's bank account even bothering to remain paying AOL customers with a half ** constructed software service that is too paranoid and selfish to even provide a way to share information with others via our computer?

Quick Find - Select All- Delete
Hello, I have the most difficult time cleaning out my mail box. PLEASE YOU COULD HELP IN THIS WAY:

DELETE:I have to scroll to delete one email at a time..that takes hours that is why I don't do it. I have so many emails that I try to get people to send me messages in other ways. However I could quickly get ahold and manage my mail so much easier if for example:
QUICK FIND: gnc
then all my emails that say GNC would come up

SELECT… -

AOL Gold freezes up, won't load pages. Here I am with 2 tabs open both of which I can open articles, read content, and go back and forth be
Here I am with 2 tabs open, I can go back and forth opening articles, but when I try to access Equibase.com which is only on horses, it freezes up and refuses to load. "Timed out", "Oops...something went wrong" or the page goes white and I sit here watching a little blue circle go around. Gold has an anniversary coming up, which is THREE HUNDRED revisions since I signed up in January. What's up with a browser that still crashes??? Did everybody but me already move on to a better browser???
Please send us a crash report in order for our engineers to look into the issue you are experiencing with the software closing unexpectedly. To do that, please follow these steps:

2. Click on Help on the top right, and select Report a Bug from the drop-down menu.

What do I have to pay in fee to get 36,678 incoming mails out of my computer
My idea is to return to your old AOL mode hat keeps customer on your site. At the rate you are going - and I have been with you 1993 (count the years!!) there will be one more leaving, if not many more. Wake up your customer service has gone down the drain.

quick print gone
Just had to install aol desktop gold on a new windows 11 computer. Unlike my aol on older computer, this new version does not have quick print option anymore. Why was this taken away, can it be put back. Quick print output is a bit different (and better) than doing through print/preview and takes less time.
Unfortunately, there is new functionality in Windows 11 that breaks our ability to do quick print. They are now pushing all print jobs into their own print preview window which doesn't work for many applications. We are working with them to try and resolve this issue.

I am having trouble reading the printed lines on Huffington/AOL News as the AVANTIS VIDEO is horrible and covers about 1/2 the screen.
As repeated the AVANTIS VIDEO should be removed permanently as it blocks about 1/2 the screen of what I am trying to read with annoying videos and no X to remove it. I am constantly removing other ads in order to read and see photos from articles I may like. Frankly it is getting a bit much and free AOL was much better than paying for it and getting poor service. I have had this email address since 1988 so not happy when it creates problems, blocks email I wish to receive, etc.

Background vs Stationery
You obviously misunderstood, we didn't want your stationery, we want to be able to OUR OWN backgrounds like before. How difficult is that? You don't even understand what your customers want or need, yet you increase the rates? That's almost laughable. You're stealing from us. Why didn't you take notes of AOL 9.8.2 before you cut it off? You don't have a clue as to what we want or need. You're not even trying to satisfy us. Why not?

To try again...I see I have the majority of AOL members thinking the same thing I do about AOL Gold...it is the worse program change I have used since my joining in1998. We don't need an inbox...it is useless & confusing. I maintain data bases of over 500+ names each. I had them all organized in my address book in groups that related to the subject matter. You destroyed my work by listing everything together in an A to Z listing. It has taken me days to reorganize them & you refreshed my book today & found invalid emails that…

Can't send as many photos
Used to be able to send 6 or more. Now it does good to send 2 and then usually only as attachments instead of copy & paste like I used to - to incorporate descriptions with the photos. It will stall and say letter can't be sent, try again in 5 min. If you try to send it like 3 x it will eventually tell you its too large a file.

Stop requesting an Adobe Flashplayer update
Whenever I go to Settings or Help there is an alert to update to the latest version of Flashplayer. The latest version is already installed on my computer, and is updated regularly. When are you going to put together a real Tech Support team that doesn't include idiot kids from India or Pakistan, who only know how to play games on their cell phones. AOL has really gone off the deep edge.

I am very disappointed in your desk top Gold to say the least. Ever since I started with it years ago, my computer will periodically freeze up and I need to restart it – even with a brand new computer I truly have to restart my computer at least 12 – 15 times per day. I use this for work purposes and find that the storage on AOL gold is most inadequate and probably should be marketed to those only using it for family & friends - I run a business using it. FIX THE EMAIL SYSTEM
after reading a new email and marking it unread the email will sometimes go in the old email folder. I mark it unread to go back to new it goes into new then I check old folder and it's back in the old folder. I can go back and forth with this all day trying to keep an email new. Very frustrating. I have had tech support at least 3 times now with no fix. Hate the GOLD/CAN'T TRUST IT
