  2. I would like to use AOL chats on my devices, but you don't allow it!

    I would like to use AOL chats on my devices, but as of now, you allow neither Linux computers, nor Android tablets to do so. You don't presently allow it, but that's really up to you, isn't it? Would you please accommodate it?

  3. When I try reading AOL news, I only get close to the end of the article when I click next I get a blank page And then I have lost the welcom

    Can't complete news items I click NEXT and get a blank page and then loose my welcome page. I have to click welcome in the top left corner and then start over, but still can not see the end of the article. This is enough to make me consider another option to AOL

  4. AOL Background Processes never stop in Windows 10!!

    AOL Gold on Windows 10 will not stop running multiple background processes for the last 4 months. Gold & W 10 all up to date. No new antivirus installed - always same Norton for years. Worked fine for almost a year. Uninstalled & reinstalled by your people 10 times, never fixed. No one at AOL will fix this for us, called a dozen times & we pay $13.99 a month for this!     You will see multiple CefSharp processes (along with the regular AOL Desktop Gold and Tray app processes) in your Task Manager in case you have several windows opened inside the AOL Desktop Gold (mailbox, email or browser), just like you would when having multiple tabs opened in external browses (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer).

  8. why is local news for area code 33322 the miami herald you can only read the start of the story then if you want more you have to pay them

    get rid of the miami herald for local news for south florida each time you try to read a story when you click on continue for the news story all you get if 15.99 to read it . i am already paying for aol service and always got local news without an extra charge please fix

    I go into help and get sent to a screen where i HAVE TO SIGN UP FOR IT!??? I have been trying to get the holidays removed from my calendar, I mean seriously HUEY LONG DAY??? Could do it before you guys IMPROVED it. Can't do it any more. Why do i pay you people? What do you do for me? This feedback screen is a perfect example. You don't read these things you ain't gonna answer me.

  10. I must be able to edit my birthdate since you system has the wrong birthdate.

    My birthdate is wrong in your system. There has to be a way to edit my birthdate otherwise you are telling the state, hospital, FBI, Social Security, US Navy, US Army and VA are all a bunch of liars which you would be including my parents and the newspaper that reported my birthdate. Do not tell me you can not change it as I have been to computer programming school and I was taught that all information is not "set in concrete".

  11. The Quick Find feature in email was better before AOL decided to "improve" it.

    Please fix the Quck Find feature in email so that it quickly finds ALL the email from one particular sender. If I ask for carpenter3@aolcom, it should show me ONLY the emails from that person. All of them listed one right after another instead instead of being innterspersed with other emails. That's how it was until today when an AOL technician installed a new version of AOL on my computer. The old AOL was better with regard to Quick Find. Hope my explanation makes sense.

  13. Gold is getting worse and worse.

    First you take away the ability to organize the favorites. Now you have removed the User ID's from the sign in screen. And the Add a New User does not work? And when you try and type an email, the address automatically goes into the body of the message. The problems go on and on. What are you doing?

    Thank you for your post. The product team is not planning to change the alphabetical listing of favorites.

    As you might have noticed we changed the login process in AOL Mail, to a more secure 2 step login, which helps prevent your AOL account from being compromised or hacked.

    Since the last update it seems everything is a mess ....worse than before if thats possible......Emails are a nightmare to send, all you get are either "try again in few minutes" or get errr msg!!! and still no staus available of mail sent......Why do you keep screwing it up???   15. Improve you news & update it

    Your news articles/reviews seem to run for ever & many are pure garage. The interview on "best before dates" has run its course weeks age , take it off & not interesting in the least. Why not try & improving AOL's name by posting better articles/reviews, your news is boring. It makes me want to get rid of my AOL acct.

  16. web site is impossible to Delete previous Credit Card from Account !!!

    Make it easier to Delete Old Credit Card from Account, which currently does Not Work and requires going through the Tortures of the Damned to try to delete the old info there... Spent over an Hour and still nothing would delete old card number !!!
    Stop Telling People to Manage Subscriptions to do it, That Does Not Work !!!

    Have been getting this error message for 1 week now. The error messages come up repeatedly after about an hour and then stop.The connection is fine. Please advise how I can resolve this ASAP.

    Please power cycle (reboot) your modem/router, by following these steps:
    Switch off and unplug the power from your modem/router.
    Leave both unplugged for 30 seconds.
    Plug the power back into the modem/router and verify that you are again connected to the Internet.

  18. Improving Linux compatibility of installer with latest Beta versions (.net 4.8 won't install)

    Hello everyone from Germany,

    AOL was my first ISP back in 1998 and I thought of what has become of this old classic.

    I learned about the Beta site and thought I'd give it a try on Linux using wine (wine is not an emulator).

    Unfortunately the installer crashed right away when it was trying to install .net 4.8.

    If you are staying on Windows 7, do NOT reinstall Windows unless you want to go through the hassle of copying system files.

    I have a few Win7 computers and noticed that when I did a fresh install on one of them I could no longer download AOL Desktop Gold. It gave a "download error". I called tech support and they said Windows 7 is no longer supported, which is silly. Windows 7 still works perfectly.
