2. addressbook is gone

   i have called service. All address contacts are not showing up. Service did not help. Why am I responding here when it states that this is not monitored for support issues. This is not a solution.

4. Facilitate transfer of AOL files to other devices

   I have been trying in many ways to copy folders and files I saved on AOL My PC and place them as backup in a folder of Documents in my Desktop computer but I have not succeed. I call Costumer Services for assistance, after trying with the assistant we were not able to have results and he said that Gold AOL do not permit to do it. I am really disappointed to know that always will have to depend on the AOL platform to access many old files. I want to know if AOL can give me option to provide a solution in this issue. It is important to me and likely to many other users to be able to transfer and storge AOL mails separately, including devices such USB Memory cards.

   We are investigating this issue. The new spell check uses Microsoft's library for spelling. We have reached out to them to find out if there are solutions for capital letters within spell check.

8. Add an Update Password Feature

   The convenience of the Password saving feature is marred by our inability to change the password when necessary. I just got an alert about a Google data breach and had to change that password. AOL refuses to allow the change in the Browsers' Password manager's box. Data breeches are now almost a monthly event, so this feature would be a great addition.

   We are working to improve our password manager and the functionality to updates passwords etc.

9. bring back the hover animations from version 9.0 optimized

   AOL desktop gold still looks and feels like 9.0 optimized from 2003 however, there are no hover over animations like in the 2003 version, that would be a nice aesthetic touch! also provide a toggle within settings to give users the option to turn it off it they don't like it. I can provide examples if needed lol :)

13. Save Column Widths

    While this is not a new idea, I tough a new appeal might draw attention to it. On the default AOL Desktop screen are “My Mail Folders” on the left and individual emails under “Date”, “From”, and “Subject” headings on the right. I can adjust the width of the “My Mail Folder” area. I can adjust the width of the three email headings. If I switch between the “Inbox”, “New”, “Old”, and “Sent” tabs, the widths remain. However, if I close AOL desktop, they do not get saved. Even going to the “Search Mail” tab and back, resets all of the widths. There does not appear to be a way to save them. I have tried clicking on “Window”, then “Save Window Size and Position”, but that does not work. Can you add a “save column width” function to the “Save Window Size and Position” function? Thanks.

    Get rid of your AI algorithms that constantly misinterpret articles, and go strictly by 'word content'. If you are saying WHAT IS YOUR OPINION? 16. No Prev and Next Buttons in Search Mail Tab

    I am using AOL Desktop Revision 11.1.5071. When I open an email within my Inbox, the bottom right section of each email has buttons for “< Prev” and “Next>”. If I enter a string in the “Quick Find” box and open one of those emails, they have the same buttons. However, if I click on the “Search Mail” tab and enter a string, then open one of those emails, they do not have the “Prev” and “Next” buttons. Can you add them there?

17. CompuServe Welcome Screen Not Working

    When signing in, the CompuServe Welcome Screen (main menu) doesn't load. Instead there's an error "This site can’t be reached
    Check if there is a typo in webcenters.netscape.compuserve.com.

    If spelling is correct, try running Windows Network Diagnostics.
    DNSPROBEFINISHED_NXDOMAIN"

    It appears "webcenters.netscape.compuserve.com" is no longer a valid site. Perhaps changing the welcome screen to use "https://member.compuserve.com/menu/" would be a good fix

20. Need Help Setting The Privacy Option in My AOL Account

    On my Dell EBT 2250 PC using the Windows 11 operating system, I am not able to change the privacy options in my AOL account. Whenever I try to change any one of the options, I always get the error message " Oh No ... we are not able to process this request" I have gone into my AOL account using the myaccount.AOL com numerous times in order to change the privacy settings. I have tried to do this using the FireFox, Edge, and Opera browsers with and without my malware/virus protection programs turned
    on. I have also power cycled the ISP modem numerous times and have even used a second PC. The second PC is a DELL T3400 using Windows 7 and FireFox as the browser, and I had no success changing my privacy settings.

    I have contacted AOL Tech Support four times, and they have not been able to find a solution to the problem.
