system unresponsive and the e-mail inbox window does not refresh after overlayed with another window
After I login to AOL Desktop gold the AOL system is hanging and unresponsive for about 30 seconds before it becomes responsive again. Also when I click on read e-mail the AOL desktop system becomes unresponsive again and hangs for about 30 seconds before email displays. It does not appear the e-mail has been refreshed. ALso when I open an email to view the contents and then close the email, the email inbox listing screen contents is wiped and not refreshed automatically after it is overlayed with another window. Can't print images in email without downloading??
I'm still paying for a "Gold" subscription, but I'm beginning to wonder why. What happened to hte "KISS" principle that made AOL great? Everything that used to be easy, now requires "workarounds" to accomplish.

Please change Desktop Gold so that I can clear All my browsing history including anything from AOL
I believe in the "If its not broke...do not fix it" so my idea is for your engineering techs to take it back to what it was so that when I want to clear my browsing history everything goes away. I delete it by going to Settings then Privacy and then clear footprints and it ask for me to clear foot prints now. 6th rankedThe items you are seeing are actually being populated from your favorite places items. We received a lot of feedback from users that wanted to see the URL bar suggest items from users favorite places when they were typing.
That said, we understand the confusion of being able to see items in your browser URL drop down list after you have cleared your browser history, so we are making steps to correct this in a future release so that after you clear your browser history, you will no longer see any items in the URL drop down list.

Out going emails
When building an outgoing email every time I click in a different spot the email jumps, also if I delete one address in the address bar the remainder jumps to the end. WHY? Please find a way to make them remain still until I send!

The constant changes are clearly deleting many good features. If it is already available and it is used, why change it. More options needed

The rolling news ribbon on the Welcome screen no longer has a pause selection.
The rolling news stories on the welcome page used to have a pause selection where you could stop the news from advancing to the next topic. Shouldn't be difficult to restore it. Just curious why it was removed.

Address book problems
I have spent the last hour on the phone with tech support trying to be able to edit and/or delete contacts in my address book. I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled it. Nothing the agent tried has worked and when I try to edit an address in the address book, no change is made. I also cannot delete any contacts.

You are showing a fraudulent ad
In your Hot News you are showing American stamps at a discount. That is NOT by the U.S. Postal Service!! The U.S. Postal service has a special coating on their stamps that shows up with ultra-violet light and these do not. If the USPS tests the letters, they can sue, they can NOT deliver your mail if they choose to. This is like using fake money to buy things. It should not be shown through AOL under Hot News!! If you want our USPS to go under, then use those and find a way to deliver your own mail because…
