  2. Try again later, Oh Oh OOPS and don't forget the cute Broken Robot

    I have been using AOL to keep connected I am disabled and cannot get out.....over the past few months there have been continual times when I cannot log in, or when I log in and hit my Mail box it says many funny things that just tic me off, say try again later... this now has been going on for 2 days. Looked up and read that OATH is owned by VERIZON and that they may be doing away with our emails... which forces me to get a more secure mail service. If anyone has a solution at your site,…

  3. Complaint

    COMPLAINT: Morons... Site says tech support 24x7, but try to get through (at 10:15 PM Pacific??) Also, when trying to reset forgotten password, the site won't accept anything that is remotely close to last or other computer used password, and AOL plays God saying "too short, try again."

  7. File Downloading

    When an email has a file attached now, (1) it doesn't open like they used to and (2) there is no means to open files via Aol software like before. This is crazy! Now if you download something you have to find it on your computer which isn't always easy.

  8. import address book and favorites

    I cannot import my address book into gmail or my favorites into Internet Explorer. Some of us use additional email accounts other then just AOL for email. I guess AOL holds back on this to try and keep you from giving up the paid AOL ?

  9. Hackers are trying to access my PC via the right-hand ad side, stating they're from MS & I've a virus! Thought you'd want this info!

    Hackers are trying to access my PC via the right-hand ad side, stating they're from MS and I have a virus and my PC's been compromised! A man's voice comes on saying he's from Microsoft and that my PC's been compromised, along with type stating the same thing where the ads show in that right pane! You need to secure your ads as your software's obviously been hacked, and people who aren't as computer-literate as I am, will click on the links therein! Just thought you'd want to know this!!!

    It appears that your computer might be infected with a malware. This form of malware can alter your default browser settings, and injects them with pop-ups. To resolve this, please run a full scan with your anti-malware or anti-virus program.

  10. account email notices differ. Same account, different computers

    I use Gold on two computers. I have a number of email addresses. In one computer when I click to change accounts the number of emails unread shows in a window. On the other computer it does not. How can you resolve this difference?

  13. AOL hopelessly radical left leaning...

    After being a subscriber for over 25 years, I must say I am utterly disappointed that AOL has become so LIBERAL...it is one thing to lean left, but to provide statistics based on their opinion is not worthy of them. I only wish they would get back to reporting facts and at least, try to stay neutral politically....half the country is conservative, some how they cannot accept that FACT!!

  15. We must be able to read attachments while still reading mail

    How can I go to set up a file to place the attachments when I do not know exactly what the attachments are? I must leave the "reading screen" and then click on "my computer" to open files where the attachments was placed. And 5 out of 15 times the attachment is put by me) in the wrong location. THIS IS A HORROR.AND TAKES ME TEN TIMES AS LONG TO READ MAIL. i am thinking of leaving AOL where I have been for 17 years.unless there is a priomise of a correction.

  16. AOL Gold browser freezes up, locks, won't load even it's own pages

    Really? I have to close the browser, and completely reboot my computer to get this browser to work properly? While this one is busy not doing anything, using half a gb of ram, I can open AOL Shield and go to the website I can't get Gold to open. Geesh, almost 300 revisions now and it's still a pain in the .............

  17. AOL Desktop Gold (Not Responding)

    AOL Desktop Gold is not responding on my computer. The issue is intermittent. I can navigate for a while and then all of the sudden it will not respond. Contacted AOL Tech Support. We run System Mechanic, still no good. Checked task manager to checked CPU usage. AOL Desktop Gold is the most highest running program on my PC. Please check this problem. Thank you.

    Please send us a crash report in order for our engineers to look into this issue. To do that, please follow these steps:

    1. Open AOL Desktop Gold.
    2. Click on Help on the top right, and select Report a Bug from the drop-down menu.
    3. Type a short description of the problem, and click Send.

  19. Make email work, more than about half the time.

    Fix the bugs. About half the time when I try to send or save an email, I get a message that I should "try again in about 5 minutes." That is unacceptable.
