Please bring back 9.8.2
First of all, let me start by saying that I have been an AOL customer for more than 20 years and I am really mad. Bring back 9.8.2. This version stinks. When I try to print my emails, it leaves out half of the previous emails/responses. The old version told you whether or not you had any emails and how many when changing screen names, this one does not. You have to switch and sign on to find out if you have any emails. Suppose you had one or more window tabs open on the aol desktop. It used to be that when you would click the "welcome" tab, the space in which to type a new URL was blank. This is no longer the case. The AOL software would only try to "guess" previously used URLs when I started typing in the URL space. desktop gold mail composing.
On Desktop Gold, when trying to write an email, there are no longer manageable margins. in other words, when typing a line in an email, it keeps going beyond the margins of the email, and when one hits "enter" to go to the next line, one loses sight of the cursor completely, with no means of scrolling to the left. There is no justification whatsoever.

user not maintaining a good connection between the aol software and server
It seems that the aol desktop gold software is not coded right to allow a smooth experience for the user. There is constant freezing for a second or two anytime I try to do anything on the software, from reading email to reading an article to typing feedback.
A third party browser doesn't have this problem. Things are not always in sync.It seems like the servers just can't handle the load. A way to fix that would be to add more server capacity. It could also be the amount of network traffic, but again, adding more capacity to the…

Your algorithm for screening comments still needs work and could benefit from AI!
I've gone through several screenings for words I've used in comments! The word or words that caused rejection or challenging were in no way used offensively nor were the word or words in question made known to me. I'm keenly aware and support efforts to try and keep comments constructive. But your words have no value to me when I see others verbally attacking others (this time me) without the sensitivity you seek. I see lots of hateful language but not necessarily an offensive word. Even spell check and full screen doesn't work anymore Chrome works the best and is the ONLY browser that allows me to see my Netflix and Hulu subscriptions. starting in beginning of Dec. 2017 -
1- notified support about organizing favorites -
response - thats the way it is + can not + will not be changed
2 - at same time local news for location contained NO news for location , but contained news from 50 to 12,000 miles away - prior it contained news from local towns + area -

Make it Faster
I have mentioned this before in a post. This Gold version stinks. It cannot even keep up with my slow typing here on your comment block. I try to delete messages, and it takes way, way, too long to respond. You can improve it by clearing up the slowness, and if you cannot do that, then go back to the most previous version. AOL Gold is as terrible as it's been since day 1. It sucks up so much memory, RAM, and resources that it makes both of my computers run very slowly. AOL has been promising to improve it since Day 1, and it never gets better. Every platform that AOL used before Gold worked so much better than this disaster.I'm glad that Verizon sold AOL so maybe the new owners will care enough to improve it.

FIX SPELL CHECK! Asked until blue in face and nothing done and I am ignored, without response despite several requests! I recently bought a new computer, installed AOL Desktop Gold and then you folks wouldn't allow me to use my email and sent me a verification code for security purposes at my recovery Gmail address.
