    radio button is missing when trying to edit contacts from the address book.
    please put back the radio button to correct all email address's in my adress book .

    The radio button has been removed from the Address Card view. The ‘Primary E-Mail’ field will be the main email address that will show in your Address Book.

    when i do a search in the Favorites due not being able to find the site listed in my favorites, which is rather long, it displays the site i want but doesn't show where the site is listed in my Favorites so i have to manually find it and move the site to where i want it listed. it would be great if when we search is to go right to where it is listed so we know exactly where it is listed. i have a lot of major favorites, i.e., truck issues, DAV, Bills, and a lot of sites…

  5. Transparent PNG images with alpha channels show up black & are converted to JPG

    I am a Graphic Designer and have to email my iOS programmer 2600+ transparent PNG images to program into our iOS application. They have to be in PNG format. AOL Desktop Gold has a few programming flaws that need to be fixed immediately. When I copy any PNG image into the write mail window, AOL incorrectly flattens the transparent PNG image making the transparent area BLACK in color and ALSO changes the file format from PNG to a flattened JPG image. We can NOT use JPG images at all as they lack an alpha channel.

    This HAS to be fixed…

    As a workaround, please attach the PNG files to the email, as opposed to embedding them into the email body. To attach the files, click on the ‘Attach File’ button at the bottom left corner of the Write mail window.

  6. FIX AOL GOLD. IF I KNEW HOW, I'D HAVE YOUR JOB.

    AOL GOLD IS PROBLEMATIC WHENEVER AND WHEREVER I USE IT, REGARDLESS OF THE TYPE OR BRAND COMPUTER. AOL GOLD PROBLEMATIC STATE IS MOST CONTINUALLY ACKNOWLEDGED BY AOL TECH SUPPORT THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. I HAVE USED AOL GOLD IN DIFFERENT CITIES, STATES AND COUNTRIES WITH CONNECTION SPEEDS FROM 0.25 MBS TO OVER 50 MBS AND IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE. AOL GOLD HAS BUILT-IN FLAWS AND INCONSISTENCIES MAKING IT ONE OF THE WORST AND USER UNFRIENDLY ONLINE PROGRAMS IN EXISTENCE.   7. No way to cancel an email upload. A totally new problem

    I am attempting to send files to my boss, I have multiple emails to send. I was in the process of sending one and decided I'd put the rest in my 'waiting to be sent' folder and each time I tried the mail started sending instead of going into the folder. Which resulted in 2 emails trying to be sent at the same time. There is NO cancel upload button anymore which resulted in both emails being sent at the same time. And with no way to cancel the second email from going, I ended up with Err35 message…

    Thank you for reaching out to us, we will send this to our Product Engineers and they will look into this to see if they can have it fixed in a future update or release of the software.

    Once you click on “Send Now” after composing the email, there is no way to cancel the action. If you want to save your email and send it later, you can click on “Send Later” and retrieve the email from the Drafts folder.

  8. Unusual AOL problems the last couple of days.

    Has anyone else experienced unusual difficulty with AOL the last couple of days? Here's what's been going with my aol: 1) I take steps to save an email to a new folder. The email does not show anywhere in the new or old or deleted sections, but the new file folder with the saved email is not showing up in the saved area or anywhere else. 2) I wrote an email and clicked to send it. It doesn't send. I give it a few minutes and then click send again. It doesn't send this time either, and doesn't give me…

  11. can't delete folders in "READ"

    Good Morning,

    I've been trying to delete some folders under "My Mail Folders" .. The error message says either error code EC-4001 or it asks if I want to delete the folder and I say YES but it doesn't delete

  12. Does anyone at AOL read the COMMENTS?

    It is hard to believe, that AOL has become **** For three weeks, every time I turned on my computer, I was alerted that AIM as of Dec 15 was NO LONGER AVAILABLE. It kept going till Jan 2nd. Now four days ago, I get a AOL ALERT, that I can only use AOL GOLD. No notice, no nothing. Then waiting 40 minutes to speak with a AOL tech and listening to the twangy music, I am told " SORRY"
    What ever Team worked on AOL GOLD have to be FIRED. They are Incompetent. There are so many issues…

    3. Cannot keep pinned the AOL task bar

    4. Waiting too much time to open AOL Gold

    5. Cannot copy and paste sometimes links from the Internet; However, there are no problems with Mozilla or Google

    6. Cannot copy from Microsoft word to the e-mail box

    7. Cannot copy news from the Israeli website to the e-mail box

    8. AOL is asking too many times for verifications, as long I setup already with AOL technicians…

  17. AOL telephone numbers

    I am very confused about what phone numbers I should use. I have been using a VIP tel. number with my VIP number but it doesn’t work. What shall I do with my number? Do I keep it?
    I have a number for tech support and billing.
    For Assist I have these numbers:
    1-800/361-5440 Assist.*
    1-844/209-7254 ”
    1-855/221-0416 “
    1-844/218-2840 “
    AOL 1-800/827-6364 Tech support and billing
    1-855/265-8477 VIP tel no. which the voice mail forwards me to then it says (“This number is experiencing technical difficulties Try again later”.) for quite some time now but calling later doesn’t help…

    Regarding the double spacing in emails, this might be a result of using a certain Font type or size. You can adjust the Font type or size in order to reduce the spacing.

    I have a major complaint, this has been going on for such a long time, but I have just about had it with ads hitting me in the face constantly, even when I was paying for your most expensive membership.   20. Getting blue bar when trying to correct words that deletes the following words

    When I'm typing and make a mistake, I go back to correct it and I get a BLUE bar, that deletes letters on the next word. I have to change positions, correct the misspelling and then put it back in place. That happens with no warning. And it happens, no all the time, but a lot of times.

    In order to disable the overtype mode, press the Insert key on your keyboard, then you can please the cursor behind the word you want to delete.
