  1. Photo issues in Win 10

    Win 10, new computer. After adding 6 photos to email body like I have always done in Win 7, AOL goes poof. Cannot get it to stay signed back in as that email was frozen there and would not close out. AOL not responding then poof, gone again. After wasting 15 minutes, I restarted computer and AOL finally opened and stayed open less that email that froze it. Week ago I had to uninstall and reinstall AOL per AOL tech on phone, wasted half a day loading back in toolbar favorites etc. PLEASE FIX photo in email issues.

    Please send us a crash report in order for our engineers to look into the issue you are experiencing. To do that, please follow these steps:

    1. Open AOL Desktop Gold.
    2. Click on Help on the top right, and select Report a Bug from the drop-down menu.
    3. Type a short description of the problem, and click Send.

  2. AOL Tech Help

    Due to the AOL Tech help.....I have NO welcome screen. It is blank when I sign on. In order for me to get welcome screen....I must sign off & on 6 or 7 times to get it. Also, I have to use the keyword hundreds of times to get the welcome screen. I have to do both of these things in order to get welcome screen. AOL tech help does not help at all. Every single time I call AOL tech help.......I get cursed out because especially if I do not buy anything. AOL tech help also flashes a middle…

  5. Facilitate transfer of AOL files to other devices

    I have been trying in many ways to copy folders and files I saved on AOL My PC and place them as backup in a folder of Documents in my Desktop computer but I have not succeed. I call Costumer Services for assistance, after trying with the assistant we were not able to have results and he said that Gold AOL do not permit to do it. I am really disappointed to know that always will have to depend on the AOL platform to access many old files. I want to know if AOL can give me option…

    What are the minimum and recommended computer requirements for aol desktop gold? Does aol desktop gold run better on amd or intel cpu hardware, how much ram is needed?

  7. I'm disappointed with the upgrade of copy send - red boxes appearing -not allowing sending

    Please remove the bell icons that appear when I try to copy & paste.
    After pasting they appear as red rectangles with an x and padlike symbol not allowing me to forward to my existing customers. Now I have to remove all the red markings - this II always did with bcc & to icons. This is very time consuming as I have a long list of customers that are expecting the latest news.

    3. The stories don’t always match the story on the main page.
    4. Email loads slowly or not at all. Many times I get a message to try again in five minutes because AOL cannot access your email.

    The AOL Desktop Gold recently received a new update to address several performance issues. To make sure that you have this new update installed, click on the Help button on the top right, and select “About AOL” from the drop-down menu. In case your revision number is lower than 11.0.2007, click on the Help button again and select “Check for updates”, and leave the software open for 10-15 minutes then close and re-open it (in order for the update to be installed in the background).

    If you already have the latest revision and are still experiencing performance issues, please send us a crash report in order for our engineers to further investigate the issue. To do that, follow these steps:

  9. When I go into text colors that you can highlite you go into customs to change from black to another color it never works, back to windows 7

    When I go to text colors going into custom and try to highlite a change of color it never will change, can't figure out why you techs set up a bummer for multiple problems, you should of just left well enough alone, just go back to windows 7, loved that version, windows is considered garbage in my book. Get rid of windows gold, it serves no purpose.

  10. I keep getting notices that my anti-virus has expired but CANNOT open anything showing my free benefits to fix the problem

    Tell me how to get my FREE anti-virus. Keep getting notices my computer is not protected but when I click on them it takes me to where I can BUY McAfee. Cannot get my benefits page to open. Can't get ANYTHING to open to help me

  11. Its pretty sad that not only did you not help with my password issue, but the AOL employee didnt know howto transfer my call.

    When an AOL user calls for assistance, try your best to not just give up. Whats the point of a membership fee then?

  12. Problem with your phone service

    I just tried to call your 888 number and I get the computer voice telling me what to do but when I am transferred to a live person, there is just dead silence after the ringing stops. I tried going in through technical support first and it did it 3 different times and then tried going into customer support in case there was a problem with the technical phones but it happens in both places. So if you don't have anyone fixing your phone service, you have a problem.

    When it comes to freedom of choice, It would be nice for AOL to be recognized as the World Leader in Customer Satisfaction Rating for Providing Internet Service by empowering subscriber to regain control over their sign-in welcome page by providing additional categories to select as their default Welcome Screen when signing-on to AOL.

    You people are consummately STUPID. You took a good featured program and ******* it up. You removed many great features from GOLD, which is a real piece of ****, by the way. Hard to believe you twits get paid for this. Instead of correcting a problem, you just offer an excuse error message. What dorks. You removed the Drag and Drop function from the Favorites list and alphabetized it instead. Are you a 9 year old? What a bunch of colossal fools. And then you charge for this service? Email takes forever to send, photos won't load and usually crashes…
