  1. For crying out loud - stop trying to change how we reply to posts! It was fine the way it was and there's no need to have a pop-up box!

    The original way to reply to posts was fine - we just clicked on "Reply" and posted the reply. There is absolutely no need for the stupid box, especially when the darned thing pops up enabling me to reply to myself. Out with the new, go back to the old! As my daughter has said for years, most often when people come out with what they think is new and improved what it really amounts to is new and fu**ed up.   4. AOL Desktop Gold feedback page needs to display posting dates

    This post is being made on 2018-08-22; I am on version 11.0.1916.
    I was prompted to provide this feedback because in the process of trying to provide feedback I could not tell whether the other feedback items I could see in various topics were current or not. Not until I chose to delve down into an item someone else posted did I discover that the posting date for the original post and comments were displayed.

    This reflects less than optimal page / functional design, and needs improvement -- even if this is a minor issue, it is a barrier…

  5. EXISTING + LONG TIME ONGOING

    been over 8 months now - this post will probably closed , merge into another that is not related or hidden in some other non pertinent topic -
    1 - Gold still undependable + not working - can not sign in with out multiple attempts ( internet filled with this complaint - welcome screen does not load -
    2 - intrusive , invasive privacy agreement -
    3 - AOL , OATH , VERIZON are extremely untrustworthy - customer unfriendly + do not listen to or care about long time paid consumers -
    4 - chrome browser is inefficient + outdated…

  6. I shouldn't have to pay for less...

    The message window always pops up too small. I have to widen it to see messages clearly. It’s fine when I stretch it out, left to right, but I wish it would stay that way (my preference). I have to constantly reset it every time I boot up the window. I should be able to set the column widths and have them stay where I set them, permanently. It’s very annoying to have to reset them each time I go to my mailbox.

Currently, we don’t have an estimated time frame, but we hope the majority of the features our members are asking for will be implemented soon.

    To adjust window size, please follow these steps:

    1. Drag one of the four corners of the mailbox window to your desired size and position.

    2. In the top right corner of the AOL Desktop, click “Window” then choose “Save Window Size and Position” from the drop-down menu.

    Please keep in mind that the setting will not work if the window is set on full screen.

  7. ANOTHER DAY

    going on 18 months with GOLD not operating or operating POORLY - cannot sign in without many multiple attempts - EMAIL NOT working at all - ignorant , biased welcome screen does not load - happens on different computers - ALL other INTERNET functions are operating properly - problems exist only on AOL - calling tech support is completely FUTILE -

    started early Dec. 2017 - organizing favorites , local news , biased outdated news , poor email performance , URL'S fail to load , links on welcome screen , slow + unfriendly sign on , slow navigation , + overall user unfriendly - it is an AOL problems , happens on different computers + internet providers - tech support has no viable answers - total slap in face to all paid subscribers - why does AOL not listen ? - every comment + vote on this forum falls on deaf non caring AOL ears !!!!!!-

  16. Downloaded attachments are saved in downloads instead of giving an option to save as a document

    When trying to save an attachment in my email, it only gives me an option to download instead of allowing me to save it in documents. It then forces me to save the document again in documents.

  17. I know that this forum is really paid attention to, but, I've beena AOL subscribers since I first got the internet (I'm 68yoa), probably aro

    WHY, why do I get "Oops" (white screen with an error code that does NOTHING to help the solution.) (not my job, mon) with SO many requests.I will give you guys about 2 weeks to figure it out and then I'm gone. Been here since about 1996 but it's really starting to suck. Anyone else will/may/might be better. I don't need a reply, it'll still be the same...(it's your lame butt or the computer's).

    Go to Edit > Browser settings > Security tab and check the option “Allow
    local data to be set”. Changes are saved automatically.
