Why do I have to select to delete emails twice now. Very frustrating
go back to one click delete on laptop computers or check marks on all you want to delete and only have to hit delete once

Excessive ads and liberal-slanted news!!
You've now found a way to post advertising in the white space behind our email? Just another way AOL has found to take up band space to make everything work slower and jam up which is a constant problem. I pay for this service. TAKE AWAY THE UNNECESSARY ADVERTISING!!!!! While you're at it, try to be a little less liberal in your "news reporting". Remember, I pay for this service. I don't pay for your liberal-slanted news or your excessive advertising.

I spent 45 minutes on hold with two different people. The first just referred me to another who while trying to help me, dropped the call.
Hire people that know your software. The person in tech support did not know that your company has stopped separating emails from people in my address book and everyone else. So now, many of my important emails are going to the spam folder.

aol is absolutely horrible they seem to do updates and you cant even sign on half the time i am about to cancel what they offer not worth

For crying out loud - stop trying to change how we reply to posts! It was fine the way it was and there's no need to have a pop-up box!
The original way to reply to posts was fine - we just clicked on "Reply" and posted the reply. There is absolutely no need for the stupid box, especially when the darned thing pops up enabling me to reply to myself. Out with the new, go back to the old! I shouldn't have to pay for less...
The message window always pops up too small. I have to widen it to see messages clearly. It’s fine when I stretch it out, left to right, but I wish it would stay that way (my preference). I have to constantly reset it every time I boot up the window. I should be able to set the column widths and have them stay where I set them, permanently. It’s very annoying to have to reset them each time I go to my mailbox.

Currently, we don’t have an estimated time frame, but we hope the majority of the features our members are asking for will be implemented soon.
To adjust window size, please follow these steps:
1. Drag one of the four corners of the mailbox window to your desired size and position.
2. In the top right corner of the AOL Desktop, click “Window” then choose “Save Window Size and Position” from the drop-down menu.
Please keep in mind that the setting will not work if the window is set on full screen.

Approved emails are now landing in the spam folder and spam is in the approved emails.

Also, if you delete a few emails, the computers auto deletes ALL OF THEM. FIX THIS OR GIVE ME 98.2 back.

This post is being made on 2018-08-22; I am on version 11.0.1916.
I was prompted to provide this feedback because in the process of trying to provide feedback I could not tell whether the other feedback items I could see in various topics were current or not. Not until I chose to delve down into an item someone else posted did I discover that the posting date for the original post and comments were displayed.This reflects less than optimal page / functional design, and needs improvement -- even if this is a minor issue, it is a barrier…

1 - Gold still undependable + not working - can not sign in with out multiple attempts ( internet filled with this complaint - welcome screen does not load -
2 - intrusive , invasive privacy agreement -
3 - AOL , OATH , VERIZON are extremely untrustworthy - customer unfriendly + do not listen to or care about long time paid consumers -
