AOL Gold mail issues.
I'm having issues with sending multiple emails to multiple addresses. I keep getting an error message. I've tried to get help with this by talking to tech support. Nothing has been resolved. Email with AOL Gold has been a problem since it's inception. Why are we paying for an upgrade that is worse that the old software? And why can't we speak to someone who understands English not just speak it? Some problems can't be resolved by sitting at a computer with a step by step manual to follow. AOL will not fix constant running background processes from AOL Gold in Windows 10 slowing all systems due to this - they fall a deaf ear!!
AOL Gold on Windows 10 will not stop running multiple background processes for the last 2 months. Gold & W 10 all up to date. No new antivirus installed - always same Norton for years. Worked fine for almost a year. Uninstalled & reinstalled by your people 10 times, never fixed. No one at AOL will fix this for us, called a dozen times & we pay $13.99 a month for this! Fix the email so when you delete the mail you opened so it doest fade into the mail box
fix the mail box when you open a new mail then close it. It will fades into the mail box and takes forever to go away. Then it tells me AOL is not responding. Also when you try to open a new mail it will not open until the ad loads Which sometimes take a while and you set there and wait. You spend a'lot of time waiting on the ads to load very upsetting.

multiple aol desktop golds
How many computers can have aol desktop gold installed at one time? In other words, can I have more then two aol desktop gold softwares installed on multiple computers? Can I have three or five?
With most software out there, you can have from only one to up to three or five, but this info is nowhere to be found, even on google. AOL chat doesn't know which is weird.
There is no limit on the number of computers you can download and install the AOL Desktop on.

go back to one click delete on laptop computers or check marks on all you want to delete and only have to hit delete once

aol is absolutely horrible they seem to do updates and you cant even sign on half the time i am about to cancel what they offer not worth

I spent 45 minutes on hold with two different people. The first just referred me to another who while trying to help me, dropped the call.
Hire people that know your software. The person in tech support did not know that your company has stopped separating emails from people in my address book and everyone else. So now, many of my important emails are going to the spam folder.

problems with saving emails on aol - There should be a search bar to put in the file & save on my PC is unclear
Problems with saving emails on AOL:
1. There should be a search bar to allow to go immediately with out having to scroll when very often the email goes into some wrong folder as I am scrolling & if I did not resend to myself before trying to save it to make sure I still have it if it does go into the wrong folder, it is lost.
2. Create a new folder should be at the top not the bottom

You can either “Save on AOL” and there email folders can be accessed from other computers and devices, or your can use “Save on My PC” and have the mail folders stored locally in the AOL Desktop personal filling cabinet (email folders can be accessed only from the computer where the emails were saved). You've now found a way to post advertising in the white space behind our email? Just another way AOL has found to take up band space to make everything work slower and jam up which is a constant problem. I pay for this service. TAKE AWAY THE UNNECESSARY ADVERTISING!!!!! While you're at it, try to be a little less liberal in your "news reporting". Remember, I pay for this service. I don't pay for your liberal-slanted news or your excessive advertising.

For crying out loud - stop trying to change how we reply to posts! It was fine the way it was and there's no need to have a pop-up box!
The original way to reply to posts was fine - we just clicked on "Reply" and posted the reply. There is absolutely no need for the stupid box, especially when the darned thing pops up enabling me to reply to myself. Out with the new, go back to the old! As my daughter has said for years, most often when people come out with what they think is new and improved what it really amounts to is new and fu**ed up. Approved emails are now landing in the spam folder and spam is in the approved emails.

I shouldn't have to pay for less...
The message window always pops up too small. I have to widen it to see messages clearly. It’s fine when I stretch it out, left to right, but I wish it would stay that way (my preference). I have to constantly reset it every time I boot up the window. I should be able to set the column widths and have them stay where I set them, permanently. It’s very annoying to have to reset them each time I go to my mailbox.

To adjust window size, please follow these steps:
1. Drag one of the four corners of the mailbox window to your desired size and position.
2. In the top right corner of the AOL Desktop, click “Window” then choose “Save Window Size and Position” from the drop-down menu.
Please keep in mind that the setting will not work if the window is set on full screen.
