  1. PROPERLY ASSIST OR Call your customers back WHO PAY FOR SERVICE

    I have been contacting AOL for OVER 1 year (open ticket 07256897). I have continually had every problem you can imagine. Slow email sending, cannot open mail, try again, email crashes. Template issues, etc, etc. Each time I call tech support, I must wait a minimum or 10-15 minutes, go through a lengthy id process, wheras I need a text sent to my phone with a code. THEN, I need to explain my TECH PROBLEM to billing, so they can then transfer me to tech support, who has another wait. If they cannnot resolve the problem, they will say, are…

  2. AOL Desktop Gold feedback page needs to display posting dates

    This post is being made on 2018-08-22; I am on version 11.0.1916.
    I was prompted to provide this feedback because in the process of trying to provide feedback I could not tell whether the other feedback items I could see in various topics were current or not. Not until I chose to delve down into an item someone else posted did I discover that the posting date for the original post and comments were displayed.

    This reflects less than optimal page / functional design, and needs improvement -- even if this is a minor issue, it is a barrier…

    going on 18 months with GOLD not operating or operating POORLY - cannot sign in without many multiple attempts - EMAIL NOT working at all - ignorant , biased welcome screen does not load - happens on different computers - ALL other INTERNET functions are operating properly - problems exist only on AOL - calling tech support is completely FUTILE -

    running aol gold only for usa is a good idea plus stops alot of international hackers like the ones from north korea and china from getting in to our nations computers this thing called free internet has ended they want the best like aol gold they gotta pay for it thats how it works

    i have trying since 7 AM calling for my paid service. No one is answering the phone . It is now 3 PM

  6. EXISTING + LONG TIME ONGOING

    been over 8 months now - this post will probably closed , merge into another that is not related or hidden in some other non pertinent topic -
    1 - Gold still undependable + not working - can not sign in with out multiple attempts ( internet filled with this complaint - welcome screen does not load -
    2 - intrusive , invasive privacy agreement -
    3 - AOL , OATH , VERIZON are extremely untrustworthy - customer unfriendly + do not listen to or care about long time paid consumers -
    4 - chrome browser is inefficient + outdated…

    Trying to Create a Photo Album and AOL keeps saying error in desktop. I have tried to download the latest version and it said error and did not download.

    started early Dec. 2017 - organizing favorites , local news , biased outdated news , poor email performance , URL'S fail to load , links on welcome screen , slow + unfriendly sign on , slow navigation , + overall user unfriendly - it is an AOL problems , happens on different computers + internet providers - tech support has no viable answers - total slap in face to all paid subscribers - why does AOL not listen ? - every comment + vote on this forum falls on deaf non caring AOL ears !!!!!!-

  11. windows update took away my aol gold and I pay for my aol account.

  14. You want to improve "gold"? Start over cause it ain't working

    What has happened. Now when I sigh on, there is NO option for a screen name and when I tried to open an email, it took over 6 minutes and it still was not open. I gave up trying after that. You "fix" one thing and break 5 others.

  16. There are too many problems with AOL Desk Gold.

    1. Everything's messed up. I was trying to save an email under AOL Gold on my PC and the email disappeared

    2. Then I got a pop up Alert message " OOPS something went wrong
      Error: 310-ERR-TOO-MANY-REDIRECTS."

  17. desktop gold software only highlights the line you click on then disappears does not go to the next message.

    desktop gold software is not highlighting next line in new mail. only highlights the line you click on then disappears. So when trying to delete messages you have to keep clicking the next message to have the highlight reappear. Please fix this

  18. auto-suggestions

    I am told by AOL Help that you cannot edit auto-suggestions on Desktop Gold. That should be fixed. I mistyped an address and it keeps trying to send it to that bad address. I want to delete that auto-suggestion.

  19. I know that this forum is really paid attention to, but, I've beena AOL subscribers since I first got the internet (I'm 68yoa), probably aro

    WHY, why do I get "Oops" (white screen with an error code that does NOTHING to help the solution.) (not my job, mon) with SO many requests.I will give you guys about 2 weeks to figure it out and then I'm gone. Been here since about 1996 but it's really starting to suck. Anyone else will/may/might be better. I don't need a reply, it'll still be the same...(it's your lame butt or the computer's).

  20. Downloaded attachments are saved in downloads instead of giving an option to save as a document

    When trying to save an attachment in my email, it only gives me an option to download instead of allowing me to save it in documents. It then forces me to save the document again in documents.
