  1. Why have you made :Favoite Places" so complicated? I like that it is alphabetized but it is no longer easy to add a new site.

    In the past it was a no brainer to add a favorite place: just click on the heart and voila it was done. Now you have a :procedure that it totally unnecessary and for me who is only vaguely computer literate you have created unnecessary work. I know this comment will elicit a response but is unlikely to effect any change

  2. How it improve AOL DESKTOP GOLD.....FIX THE PROBLEMS!

    I am really getting sick and tired of clicking on something having the computer freeze while AOL DESKTOP decides when to start responding! "You've got Mail" but wait 2 minutes for it to respond and show you what it is, "Can't send now, try another time" yet the **** adds keep popping up. 71 headlines, but more that 1/2 are over a week or more old and don't even try to read someithing from oneof the partners you have to look on 25 pages of ads to find/complete reading the story!     Please send us a crash report in order for our engineers to look into this issue. To do that, please follow these steps:

    1. Open AOL Desktop Gold.
    2. Click on Help on the top right, and select Report a Bug from the drop-down menu.
    3. Type a short description of the problem, and click Send.

  3. Unable to Open a .png file attachment

    I was sent 2 emails with attachment of .png. file and I was not able to open or read the attachments or files even with Icy remote sharing my computer.

    Please fix this problem for me!

  4. AOL - Create A One page only sign on screen

    Set up a single (yes, just one and ONLY one) page sign on screen.

    Currently, there is a maximum of seven possible sign on ID's for an account.

    Also, asking for an agreement to terms of service each time a feedback is written is unnecessary. I believe that just using aol is an affirmation to accepting TOS every time aol is accessed by a user.

    List them vertically, all on one single page. Yes, they will all fit. Pair each one with a blank box underneath the supplied Sign on ID, to allow entry of the password that matches…

  5. AOL GOLD IS SO SLOW ITS NEAR UNUSABLE

    AOL GOLD IS CLUMSY, SLOW, CUMBERSOME, INEFFICIENT AND STILL CONTAINS MANY GLITCHES WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED MANY MONTHS AGO, LIKE LAST YEAR. AOL GOLD LOCKS UP YOUR COMPUTER REQUIRING CONTROL-ALT-DELETE FREQUENTLY. AND, SOMETIMES THE LOCK IS SO COMPLETE THAT EVEN THAT WILL NOT WORK. THE COMPUTER MUST BE OUTRIGHT POWERED OFF AT THE MAIN SWITCH. THAT'S PRETTY BAD. AOL GOLD FREQUENTLY CRASHES THE PROGRAM REQUIRING COMPUTER REBOOT.     Also, Forward/Back buttons don't work on my mouse, yet it works on all my other browsers, ie: Firefox, Chrome, and Internet Explorer.

  9. Browser no good. Getting blank pages.

    Browser no good. Getting blank pages. This is happening too often with random sites that I try to go to. Many times after trying to access a URL I get a blank white page and the site will not come up. At other times I get a blank black page for seconds, and then a white blank page before the site finally appears.

    There is nothing wrong at my end. Do not tell me to clear my browser or call an AOL tech. I do not have this problem when I use the Internet Explorer browser.

  10. AOL Gold won't display pictures in emails even when box to notify me before opening mail with pix is unchecked.

    The AOL Desktop Gold software is not displaying pictures in emails even though I have the "Notify me before opening mail containing pictures" box unchecked. If I reply to the email informing the sender I didn't get the pictures, the sender tells me the pictures are right there in my reply. And if I open the email on mail.aol.com, the pictures are indeed there. Increasingly, there is no reason whatsoever to use the AOL software. It won't do nearly as much as previous versions did and it's full of bugs. I often have trouble even sending, opening, or moving mail…

    Go to Edit – Mail Settings – and uncheck “Hide images and disable linked in mail from unknown senders”

  14. Product Support, AOL did not pay attention to photo problem

    Product Support, AOL responded  (then closed comments so I couldn't respond) "You can use drag and drop feature or right click and insert picture". This is correct however try to get the email to leave with a photo in it. It will take a long time and then error message pops up saying try later, no matter how small or how few photos in said email. No matter how many times I try to send it.     Restore AOLGold
    Make it easier to switch computers and still find AOL Gold. We upgraded to new laptop with Win 10 and now AOL Gold is missing we can't figure out how to get AOL Gold on this computer.

  16. Better security

    I was approached by a person saying they would fix my Desktop gold and they took over my computer and scammed me out of $2000 .I'm filling out fraud forms at my bank today. We closed all accounts and I have a computer man coming today to clean out my computer. This has cost me a lot of monies.

  17. Transferring data

    I attempted to copy everything I have in AOL 9.8.0 on my Windows 7 desktop to AOL Gold on my new Windows 10 computer. Everything moved without any problem
    except "Mail waiting to be sent." I am told by your tech department that it is not possible. That is hard to accept! My wife has years of writings in "Mail waiting to be sent" that are now useless unless I keep the old computer.   18. Need To Fix This or I'm going to leave AOL

    Every time I go to Ebay this is what I get "Failed to load URL https://www.ebay.com/ with error ERRTOOMANY_REDIRECTS (TooManyRedirects)." If this doesn't get fixed I will be looking for a new Internet service. Aol now is HORRIBLE!!! I have been with Aol every since I had a computer which I think was 1998 and I can't understand why it was messed with when it was working fine as it was. What good is it if you can't go to the site you want to go to!!

    From an AOL side you can try clearing the cache from your settings which will restart AOL Desktop Gold, however until the underlying issue is resolved, you will still likely run into the issue sometimes.
