    1- notified support about organizing favorites -
    response - thats the way it is + can not + will not be changed
    2 - at same time local news for location contained NO news for location , but contained news from 50 to 12,000 miles away - prior it contained news from local towns + area -

    ACCOUNT VERIFICATION
    Improve your account verification process! I recently bought a new computer, installed AOL Desktop Gold and then you folks wouldn't allow me to use my email and sent me a verification code for security purposes at my recovery Gmail address. I entered the verification code into AOL Desktop Gold and instead of just accepting it and bringing me to my AOL email, a pop up appeared insisting I secure my account and reset my password. What's the point of a verification code to a recovery email address if you're going to force me to reset my password…

    FIX SPELL CHECK! Asked until blue in face and nothing done and I am ignored, without response despite several requests! Click on "ADD TO DICTIONARY" and it does not, etc. You eliminated the "Ignore It," option also. This has gone for months without a fix, or rely. Further, for months heard once that you were working on why free McAfee cant be downloaded. How many more months needed to fix this??? Still my computer unprotected and you ignore all requests for update on what is happening! Gold goes down regularly and your firm ignores paying customers. WHY? Mail slow, adds…

    No wonder aol's gone out of business... and that's why you and I are having such great difficulity. Even spell check and full screen doesn't work anymore Chrome works the best and is the ONLY browser that allows me to see my Netflix and Hulu subscriptions.     PLEASE FIX THIS BUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    This menu box keeps popping up with every click of my mouse...
    (Back, Forward, Refresh, Undo, Redo, Select All, Create Shortcut, View Source, Print, Print Preview, Add to Favorites, Properties, Pop Ups). It is popping up while I am typing this feedback. It is quite annoying. I have to click on another spot on the screen to make it go away and then I have to re-click to try to get to where I was going.     Start again. Your service has gone downhill at an unbelieveable pace. I can't wait to abandon AOL. Virtually nothing works. Tried to delete a few screen names, and after 45 minutes simply gave up/ Improve my experience with AOL...............at this point I don't know where to begin.

  10. Make it Faster

    I have mentioned this before in a post. This Gold version stinks. It cannot even keep up with my slow typing here on your comment block. I try to delete messages, and it takes way, way, too long to respond. You can improve it by clearing up the slowness, and if you cannot do that, then go back to the most previous version.     AOL Gold is as terrible as it's been since day 1. It sucks up so much memory, RAM, and resources that it makes both of my computers run very slowly. AOL has been promising to improve it since Day 1, and it never gets better. Every platform that AOL used before Gold worked so much better than this disaster.I'm glad that Verizon sold AOL so maybe the new owners will care enough to improve it.

    In the past few days when I go to Facebook from inside my AOL software, I type in my email and password and the reCAPTCHA comes up and takes me through all kinds of loops before it says "try again". For 17 times!!! When it finally does accept what I'm doing, it takes me right back to the Facebook login screen and when I reinput the info, I'm sent right back to the reCAPTCHA.     I was just TRYING to do the IQ quiz on Trend Chaser. I gave up because those damned ads kept swirling aournd on the bottom corner.
