  1. Need To Fix This or I'm going to leave AOL

    Every time I go to Ebay this is what I get "Failed to load URL https://www.ebay.com/ with error ERRTOOMANY_REDIRECTS (TooManyRedirects)." If this doesn't get fixed I will be looking for a new Internet service. Aol now is HORRIBLE!!! I have been with Aol every since I had a computer which I think was 1998 and I can't understand why it was messed with when it was working fine as it was. What good is it if you can't go to the site you want to go to!!

    From an AOL side you can try clearing the cache from your settings which will restart AOL Desktop Gold, however until the underlying issue is resolved, you will still likely run into the issue sometimes.

    Make it easier to switch computers and still find AOL Gold. We upgraded to new laptop with Win 10 and now AOL Gold is missing we can't figure out how to get AOL Gold on this computer.

    There is a problem with the font and it must be repaired. It does not change including incoming emails. The computer is not allowing me to choose the font of my choice. This is NOT an idea, it is a problem with a complaint.

  6. where is the dictionary? I have no color on desk top gold. You installed it You said you were going to fix it but never did.

    There is no color on my computer since you installed Desktop Gold. I am unable to find the dictionary. It is no longer under edit. Where is it? Can you please fix the color?

    AOL Desktop Gold has a new way of spell checking your emails. This is done automatically, in real time, as you compose your messages. When the AOL Desktop Gold detects a spelling error, the word is highlighted by a red line under it.   8. Forget trying to fix AOL sounds and restore Windows OS media player. Simple.

    Dump your version of personalized sounds and restore the Windows Media Player. There are many sites from which all kinds of sounds may be downloaded and played. You have disabled this feature and forced us to consider your selections.

    Why does Gold freeze completely when I use SpellCheck on an email?

    Please send us a crash report in order for our engineers to look into the issue you are experiencing with the software closing unexpectedly. To do that, please follow these steps:

    1. Open AOL Desktop Gold.
    2. Click on Help on the top right, and select Report a Bug from the drop-down menu.
    3. Type a short description of the problem, and click Send.

    In case the issue persists please call the AOL Desktop Gold team at 1-888-265-3733 in order to have one of our agents further investigate.

    As you might have noticed we changed the login process in AOL Mail, to a more secure 2 step login, which helps prevent your AOL account from being compromised or hacked.

    By the way, the comment section hangs up when I try to scroll down a couple of hours.In tn other words you can't really scroll past hour 2, takes too long. This is only software, why can't you fix this?

  12. Browser does not bring up pages-I cleared by browser history. Still no good.

    You told me to clear my browsing history which I did several times to no avail. I even signed off and then back on. I am still getting this on most URL's I try to access. I do not have this problem on other browsers. I do not have the time to call AOL and wait an hour only to get no help:

    Drop down feature is terrible!! I used to be able to see what pages I had been using during browsing and could return to one if I wanted. NO MORE!! When I try to return to the last page of browsing, it isn’t there. Instead, the name of a category, usually AOL search, is there. I want to find an article that I looked at during my browsing, but if I use the arrow to find the page, I am sent back to "AOL search".   14. Improvements needed for Desktop Gold !!

    1. There are real problems with Desktop Gold – it should not have been released before they were fixed. Where is "Manage Favorites"? Can Favorites be stored on my PC?

    2. Some Favorites folders are missing on *****. How to recover? Unable to manage preferences on Desktop 9.8

    3. Security/Privacy Issue – If I log off with an e-mail and one or more web pages open, they are still visible if I do not exit Desktop Gold. If another user then logs on, they remain visible, so that the other user can read my e-mail and see the web pages I was on.

    We will send this to our Product Engineers and they will look into this to see if they can have these features added and bugs fixed in a future update or release of the software. Regarding the other features and functions that you have mentioned we will explain them below.

    The Manage Favorites feature is available, and you can use it by clicking on the manage button on the bottom of the Favorite Places window. The Manage feature provides an option to Save a copy of the favorite places in a file on your computer, to Replace your favorites with a back-up file, or to append a favorite file to your current list of favorites.   20. Too many email problems and they are horrible problems

    What is going on?? Now I search for mail from a specific person and mixed in with the results are unrelated emails from other people! Also, at times when I delete certain mails they come back.

    I can not "Select all" to detete mail in the trash.... and I can't even delete a mail in there while it i open which means I have to read a mail, then close it, then delete it. Try doing this daily with a large amount of mail! I caan't believe how bad things are here in every area.
