Stop charging for membership until your desktop and any services you claim to provide.
You are not addressing (with any substance) any feedback, complaints or issues that are addressed in this part of the AOL DESKTOP gold. I have contacted your representatives who have remote logged on and I have expressed the issues that I have. One of the representatives also went to the feedback section and entered the issues that she obviously could not fix. Welcome Screen Problems
Until a few days ago, when the AOL Welcome screen opens, you could scroll through the articles presented, click on a story you wanted to read. When you were finished reading the story, you clicked to close it and the AOL Welcome screen was still present. Now, when I finish reading a story, click to close it, the AOL Welcome screen disappears, you then have to click on the Welcome box in the upper left hand corned of the screen to pull it back up. Tech Support
Called tech support yesterday to report problem of not being able to select Icons to go on the toolbar--only can ue a heart.
The tech did not know of the problem even though many, many people have complained about it. I foolishly let him have control of my computer and he promptly screwed up(deleted several) the entries I had on my tool bar. He asked if I had a tape backup of my system at which time I ended the session. Pls hire competent people.

fix a problem with Data Mask from My Benefits
After i downloaded Data Mask my keyboard was totally scrambled and nothing I typed made any sense. I called support and got an agent who checked to make sure i was an eligible member but after being allowed into my computer proceeded to try selling me another add on to delete unneeded programs. When I refused he then downloaded Data Mask again and told me everything was fine. It was not. I then went to the file and uninstalled the program and the problem was removed. So it looks like there is a problem with the program for some computer…

Sending emails is often very slow.
Emails won't send. Instead get a message something like "We seem to be having a problem sending your email. Please try again later." Then you're stuck because you can't close it without losing it, and it won't save to Drafts either. If it finally does, duplicates or triplicates may occur when repeatedly trying to save it in Drafts.

Write new software and throw Gold into the ocean. Still having problem with the software not uploading/sending emails. Gives "try again in 5
Return to old software and abandon Gold. It is terrible. Doesn't give or send email quite often. Gives "try again in 5 minutes" warnings. Also deletes my signature quite often and I have to re type it. Really awful, and they make us pay for this pain. Looking at Gmail.com.

"Open in External Application?" message

I participated in a chat with AOL tech support (case number 01080092), allowed tech support to remotely control my computer, and we went through these steps: re-installed the ADG software, and cleared the cache and cookies. The problem remains unresolved. Please advise.

Revise email attachment process to enable easier finding of desired document
AOL Gold's process for finding a desired document is unacceptable.
Three document folders appear to listed with none of them showing the desired document which had been scanned and saved in a "documents" folder. had to do a search for document which did not show the path to the document. Serious problem. Too much time required to guess and try multiple document files. HP scanner, HPsmart, Windows 10 computer.

AOL needs to enhance their comment section to allow us to get to comments that we have posted especially when we are the leader.
AOL makes it impossible to respond to comments that are posted in response to our postings especially when we are the leader. Then need to enhance their comment section to allow us to easily get to the comments we have posted to she others responses so we can respond! I used to get notifications when individuals replied and on occasion the link would take me to the comment but it was rare. No "Paste" in Context Menu
Windows 10 computer. Ver 2004. Copy and paste issue. You can copy from outside AOL. However there is NO "paste" word in the context menu when you try to paste into 'what is on your mind' in a Facebook post. Ctrl V works. But, no...'paste' word!! Let me know. Thanks.

Just got update 1713. Nothing you said you fixed works. Control L and Contol J do nothing. You said you also fixed missing shortcut keys. F5 still does not work. My neighbor got same results on her computer. This is insane already. What are you doing over there ?? I need the F5 key to work. When will you fix this? I've been asking for months.

I hope we can have the old feature where we can send files automatically by clicking "Send to email" options on our computer
Please try setting AOL Gold as default mail client:
1. Open AOL Desktop Gold.
2. Log in using your username and password.
3. Click on the Settings icon.
4. On the General tab click on the Make Default buttons to make AOL Desktop your default browser and/or email client. -
I am so tired of the CefSharp.browser.subporcess.exe. It continues to tie up my CPU with huge memory use.
I hate aol s use of cefsharp.browser supprocess.exe. It ties up huge portion of my CPU in ways that stalls my computer. I called the help desk and they are helpless to do anything. If it continues I am considering dropping aol after all these years. The really needs fixing. Internet explorer does not use this and it works great, better than aol and its free.
Please send a report of this problem to our AOL Desktop team to have this investigated. To do that, click on the “Help” button on the top right corner of the AOL Desktop window, and select “Report a Bug” from the drop-down menu.

Why have you made :Favoite Places" so complicated? I like that it is alphabetized but it is no longer easy to add a new site.
In the past it was a no brainer to add a favorite place: just click on the heart and voila it was done. Now you have a :procedure that it totally unnecessary and for me who is only vaguely computer literate you have created unnecessary work. I was sent 2 emails with attachment of .png. file and I was not able to open or read the attachments or files even with Icy remote sharing my computer.
