AOL Client continues to be buggy --- WHY??? AOL 9.7 worked!! What is wrong?
WHY do you keep screwing with your AOL client? It is slow and buggy as always. NEVER happened BEFORE this ****** GOLD. When AOL was owned by AOL the company it worked great. NOW it is slow and sluggish. I have to re-start my computer to fix the issue. Restarting the AOL client does nothing. Can you fix this? To resolve the slowness and performance issues, please try the troubleshooting solutions below:
1. Clear the Footprints in the new AOL Desktop. Here’s how you clear the Footprints: a. In the top left corner of the AOL Desktop window, click “Edit” then choose “Select Footprints to Clear” from the drop-down menu. b. Select “Clear Footprints” from the Browser Settings. No need to wait for a confirmation message, the Footprints will be cleared immediately.
2. Restart the computer. This helps clear the internal memory (RAM), which often resolves many issues.
3. Enable only the essential startup programs. Multiple programs may have been set to start automatically when a computer is turned on. These programs may cause the computer to slow down, and affect other running applications.

I don't know what the heck is going on there. I try to get a story on Queen Elizabeth and I get something about giraffes. Several times in the past I've tried to look at a story, but a different one showed up. I'm beginning to think that you folks could louse up a two car funeral.

News articles problems - broken links or contain viruses.
Frequently when I try to open an article from the main page or a sub-page either the link is broken or a virus or worm infects my system. You need to do a better job making sure posts are clean.

Something is wrong with my AOL. I can't open my e-mails. They will not load. Keep getting a massage to wait 5 mins and try again.

I have been with AOL close to 30 years. The AOL Welcome screen is now too big of a file to load. It slows down my computer.

I have found the increase in advertisements has increased the loading time of the welcome screen. It seems AOL has packed every spare nook and cranny with advertisements. This has increased the AOL loading time.

It would be nice if the "manage my account" was fixed and available. Only a few items listed are available, out of service.

Sending email with small attachments takes far too long
Fix AOL Gold email. Sending email with small attachments with as few as two photos takes far too long. Sometimes a message appears that an error occurred and to try re sending in 5 minutes. Same issue if you try to place the email in "send later". I am a paying customer and this is the type of product we are paying for?

E-mail that I'm sending to myself is being "spammed" yet isn't showing up in my AOL computer files (yet does show on my mobile AOL e-mail.
I send e-mail to myself all day long as a reminder for thoughts/news stories to examine later.. I'm finding them sent to my SPAM folder on my mobile account, but not even as being sent of "spammed" on my computer account.
This is not the only area of censorship I've been subject to by AOL.

You are not addressing (with any substance) any feedback, complaints or issues that are addressed in this part of the AOL DESKTOP gold. I have contacted your representatives who have remote logged on and I have expressed the issues that I have. One of the representatives also went to the feedback section and entered the issues that she obviously could not fix.
