Deleting mails in my computer and samsung phone. Just asking if it's possible, when deleting mails using my computer it should also automatically delete mails in my phone as well so I wont have to manually delete the mails I deleted using my computer. Please see case - 05023272. Thanks!

AOL GOLD Export Feature
Have an export feature so one can transfer their AOL Gold Desktop to a new computer. When you try to download AOL Gold to a new computer using your current screen name, AOL tells you that you have already downloaded AOL Gold. How does one transfer your current AOL Gold desktop account to a new computer without an export feature?

Back up and restore the Personal Filing Cabinet so that it can be transferred to a new computer!!!!!!!!!
Now you can only access the PFC on the original computer. What happens if your hard drive crashes or you get a new computer? You lose all your saved emails. You used to be able to save the Organize folder and transfer it. Bring that option back!!! Also, let users know when you add things like this through an update rather than discovering on our own.
The option to Import and export your personal data to a file that can be copied to another computer is now available.
To export your personal data file, go to Edit – General Settings – My Data (tab) – click on the “Export” button, select a location where you want to save the PFC file, then click “Save”. After this you will be given the option to create a password for the personal data file.
The .export file can be moved to another computer, using an external storage device or online file storage service, and can be imported in AOL Desktop Gold, by going to Edit – General Settings – My Data (tab) – and clicking on the “Import” button (the previously created password is required).
Please note that the .export PFC file cannot be opened, and in order to access its content, you will have to use the “Import”…

When one buys a new computer any AOL mail is saved on your existing PC, it is lost due to the fact that AOL’s Programmers failed to allow you to pick a folder to save those e-mails in so that you can easily transfer those folders to your new computer. AOL wants to charge for technical support to help you with moving the files to the new computer when all AOL customers should be able to do it easily. Just one more bad problem with AOL GOLD Desktop. Computer processor is working too hard
My Computer processor is working too hard, making a lot of noise when ever signed on with AOL Gold. What is your software doing to my computer? The processor is constantly working as if it is computing some complex program or downloading / uploading a huge file/ Even if I am doing nothing. As soon as I sign off or shut down AOL Gold the noise goes away. Earlier versions of AOL did not cause the same symptoms. I am being exposed to harmful noise and my computer is being overworked. WHY?

Please stop trying to sell me AOL Antivirus software and Computer Checkup each time I call in for Technical Assistance
It seems that every time I call for Technical help, just before the Tech signs off, they try to sell me an AOL Software package. I don't appreciate this pressure when I am already paying a subscription fee, and I already have AOL Antivirus software.

Try to clear the footprints. To do that follow the steps below:
a. In the top left corner of the AOL Desktop window, click “Edit” then choose “Select Footprints to Clear” from the drop-down menu. Select “Clear Footprints” from the Browser Settings. No need to wait for a confirmation message, the Footprints will be cleared immediately.If you still encounter issues call us at 1-888-265-3733.

AOL Gold slows my computer to a crawl
AOL Gold lags my computer down. I've talked to tech and they can't help. When I go into it the program opens 4 CefSharp.Browsers and 2 AOLDesktop.exe. I go from 8% Physical Memory used to 97% whenever I open an article. This does NOT happen if I am using IE. I have spoken with tech support to no avail. I have deleted and reloaded the program with no change.
Please send us a crash report in order for our engineers to look into the issue you are experiencing with the software closing unexpectedly. To do that, please follow these steps:
1. Open AOL Desktop Gold.
2. Click on Help on the top right, and select Report a Bug from the drop-down menu.
3. Type a short description of the problem, and click Send. -

I keep getting messages such as: "We are having difficulty retrieving your mail; try again in 5 minutes. Same for sending mail. Also for updating favorites. Tech has no answer for me. I am frustrated.
Try refreshing the mailbox. Click on the Mail option on the top of the desktop screen and select Refresh Mailbox from the drop-down menu.

PLEASE REMOVE THE MICROSOFT.NET FRAMEWORD 4.8 POPUP FROM MY COMPUTER
Can you remove and/or tell me how to remove the MICROSOFT.NET FRAMEWORK 4.8 popup AOL placed on my computer? It deactivates all forward progress unless closed or canceled and is really invasive. Thanks.
I understand this looks invasive, but .NET Framework is a Microsoft component and it has to be updated regularly for other programs to work properly, not just AOL Desktop Gold. You can continue to cancel or close the window, but at some point, you will need to update this specific component as well as part of your Windows Updates. Thanks for understanding!

not getting updates on New computer
Not getting latest updates. My old computer got updated on Nov 4,
Support installed 3384 in October on my new computer. But NO
update was installed on new, yet the "About AOL = Check for updates"
says my 3384 is UP TO DATE.. it is not as AOL Beta shows UPDATE

AOL Gold keeps removing itself from my computer.
AOL Gold keeps disappearing from my computer. Each time it takes 2 hours for tech support to get it re-installed. Even then I lose all my personal tool bar items. What a pain! Please find out why this is happening.

AOL on desktop computer
I want aol mail on my computer. How can I do that? I've always gotten it there in the past. Now there seems to be a problem with it. I don't understand because that has always been my go to mail source! I enjoy seeing it on a big screen and typing on a real keyboard. By the way I have been an AOL customer for as long as I can remember and pay for it monthly--not the free version! Help me!
